  1. KRELLIAC STELLARHEART | REN'DOREI One of the many elves who've found themselves shuffling into Stormwind after their daring liberation by the marginally-less insane Windrunner sister. Krelliac found himself trading a well-equipped laboratory in Silvermoon with a retinue of like-minded colleagues for a run-down apartment in Old Town with a couple of rats to keep him company. Really, the exodus hasn't treated him kindly. Where once there was a clean-cut and brilliant researcher, there now stands a disheveled odd-jobber. Hacking gnolls and rural threats to bits isn't a glamorous lifestyle, but at least it (usually) pays the rent. Some might say it's squandering potential, but the gnawing voices rattling in the back of his skull seem a bit less ornery when he's burying a hatchet in something's skull. The void elf has traded his smile and optimism for a deep-seated lack of passion, self-loathing buried under a schmorgesborg of dry irony and sarcastic witticisms. Each passing day spent sinking deeper into debt and depression takes it's toll on Stellarheart's sense of identity. Much as he yearns for Silvermoon, for his old lifestyle, he just can't help how infectious the local dialect and manners tend to be. Maybe one day, he can go home. Until then, it's scraping by on crumbs and coppers. C'est la vie. More to come, maybe.
  2. I get why you couldn't have replaced the old vanilla stuff but I'm left scratching my head at some of the things you did decide to overwrite; a lot of the weapons that've been changed were really unique and (in my opinion) nice-looking ones to begin with. Stellar work beyond that, though.

  6. Music is a unique, varied, and malleable form of art that breathes life into almost every other aspect of culture and media. For me, personally, music has played an important role in my development as an individual. Though I don't have any particular talent musically, music and musicians that I have been introduced to over the years have been key players in my tastes and personality, and that remains a constant to this day. With that in mind, I had the idea for an experiment (when I say 'had an idea', I really mean 'stole the idea from /mu/ and a dozen other boards on 4chan') in which we would present 9 albums in a three-by-three grid (preferably 900x900 image size and coupled with links), with the express purpose of sharing our tastes and introducing each other to new music. The albums don't have to be current or obscure, or really fit any sort of theme, rather any music you think deserves to be shared and might deserve more recognition. Hopefully we can get lots of people into lots of new artists, and maybe even new genres they either thought they didn't like, or were entirely unaware of. I'll kick things off with nine very chill albums I've been listening to to get into the fall mood, as fall has always been a pretty mellow time of year for me. VACATIONS - Vibes & Days Yellow Days - Harmless Melodies Mac DeMarco - Salad Days Tame Impala - Currents Motorama - Poverty Midlake - The Trials of Van Occupanther Ducktails - The Flower Lane Peach Pit - Sweet F.A. El Vy - Return to the Moon
