Civilization has collapsed. There is no communication with the outside world. The kingdom has gone dark. The armies have faded away. The rested have dead from their graves and began to walk the earth. Is this the end?
Land of the Dead is a all-emoteable open world RPG where the player-character is free to explore a fully scripted plaguelands world in singleplayer or with friends. The mechanics of this gameworld are controlled by a team of DMs using the Hansystem, a set of mechanics using rolls and skill values.
Dive into an immersive plaguelands world as a survivor post-third war with narrative and story around every corner. Experience first hand the lives of the survivors and their fight in what is seemingly a hopeless existence. A terrible plague has swept across the land destroying all life that once flourished here. The Undead Army sweeps through the countryside slaughtering everything that stands in their way. With everything they kill they grow bigger and stronger. you cling on to only your faith, having lost everything else.
The player starts off with no equipment or weapons, just a pair of simple clothes on his back. You are a survivor of Lordaeron who has managed to escape the wraith of the Scourge Undead Army leaving behind all your family, friends, and posessions. You wander endlessly seeking refuge. It is up to you to survive. As you go along, you will meet new people, whether they are friendly or not is for you to find out.
