  1. Seconding this idea. I feel like having threads would also encourage people to be more creative when bumping them, I know I used to enjoy doing write-ups of events on my guild thread back in retail. It's a good way for people to get a feel for what the phase/guild is all about before they commit, and also lets them see how active it's been in a way that the current ads don't.
  2. • Type of Bug: Phase Forged NPC • Description: When leaving an NPC vehicle forged after the server's update to 8.3, the player is unable to jump or fall. Changing maps or phases does not resolve this issue, which persists until relogging. You are still able to walk up slopes and fly when toggled on. • Evidence (Chat message/Screenshot): https://i.gyazo.com/1f74ce927b8646c21115e8ae6b8cd343.mp4 https://i.gyazo.com/8c7258ae65200ef4c1e1236566d77c68.mp4 The first gif shows the result of dismounting a vehicle NPC (646737) which was forged while the server was still on 7.3.5. This appears to be the intended behaviour. The second gif shows the same action being taken on a vehicle NPC (701852) forged after the first 8.3 update. NPC 31157, a default blizzard NPC, doesn't exhibit the bug, however NPC 1209335 does. Both use the same displayid - 26303. • Steps to reproduce: Forge an NPC with a valid vehicle ID and enable it with .ph f n vehicle. Click on the vehicle to enter it and click to dismount. • Expected result: The player should be able to fall or jump, as with blizzard (e.g. 31157) or pre-8.3 forged (e.g. 646737) NPCs. • Observed result: As shown in the gif above, the player is stuck and unable to jump or fall until relogging. • Reproduction rate: As far as I am aware, this only occurs on every NPC vehicle controllable by the player. NPC 1209347 (displayid 30874) is an example of a vehicle which the player cannot control, which does not exhibit the bug.
  3. I've created a patch to fix the previously untextured 7ne_nightelf aqueduct WMOs, including two new modular pieces (7ne_nightelf_aqueduct03 and 04). Note that due to issues with the WMO's format, 7ne_nightelf_aqueduct01 is unchanged; I instead replaced 7ne_nightelf_aqueduct08 with a textured version of it. If folks have other recommendations for custom WMOs, feel free to drop them here. Night Elf Aqueducts.zip
  4. Just a simple patch to add in individual models for some of the dwarves in the Storm Peaks GiantBattle.wmo. The patch replaces several of the untextured 8hu_kultiras_docks wmos so should not patch over anything usable. Spawning EmptyWMO versions of these objects will result in a crash. If this happens to you, uninstall the patch and remove the object in question - you should then safely be able to reinstall the patch. Was just searching through transmog options, and found that on gnome models (both male and female, to varying extents), 3D gear assets don't align at all with the model, and many head items sit lower than they do on like - often to the point of being unusable due to clipping. Understand if this is a known/low priority issue, but figure I should put it out there if it hasn't been noticed.
