What source? WoW RP, of course! I first began on it some odd dozen years ago, wee and little I was, and oh god I'm cringing don't look at me, those memories should stay buried.
BUT! That doesn't mean I stopped holding love for it. And oh have I been around, from retail Cataclysm where my characters began to develop in earnest, to private servers like Conquest of the Horde (Rest in peace, glorious shadow) and Freedom WoW. Then I bounced into Guild Wars 2 for a while and made like seven Asura, then took a hiatus from RP as a whole, and now came back with a vengeance in Final Fantasy XIV - which, I am still on frequently, do feel free to ask for details if you like. However, this server has lingered in the corner of my eye for too long now.
Frankly, the task of integrating lore I have long consigned to the dustiest pits of memory back into anything resembling function is something that will probably have me paralyzed for a while. But the building system here might yet inspire me to take up the mantle again, or, at the least, be a convenient creative outlet.
For a quick overview of preferences: Think of the darker. The fury. The elemental. The occult. The witching. The magical. The magiteknical. The insane. And many more, I dunno, I suck at introductions. Expect a nightborne or something maybe. I haven't thought that far ahead yet as of this writing.
I mostly just wanted to have some fun writing one of these introductory posts again. It's been a while.
