These portals, while only appearing for a couple minutes at a time and only a few times per day, have accumulated interest and a bit of a reputation. Regardless of what you hear about them, one thing holds true: Few people dare step through, and even fewer come back out. Beyond the portals, very few know. Some claim the afterlife, others, another world. All agree, however, that it is a dark and eerie place.
