Silmariel 9 Posted December 18, 2018 In retail there is the occasional landmark that is exempt from view distance limitations and can be seen from anywhere on the map (or at least a much greater distance) -- notable examples include the Nighthold, Dalaran, and Shala'nir in the Broken Isles, or the Scarlet Onslaught cathedral in Northrend. It would be nice to have an ability to flag objects in this way in one's phase; particularly with very large objects even at far view distance they despawn around 500 yards away. In the cases of some raids, cities, or dungeons it actually makes them impossible to use fully, as the entire place can despawn while you're still inside.
