mavvo 23 Posted July 30, 2019 player entered phase to find doodads seemingly unshifted. "ph shift doodads off" was ran. game printed out the message that the zone had already been shifted. command did not remove objects. both player and i have relogged, left and reentered phase. the result stayed the same. every zone but talador and tanaan jungle phase shift fine. i logged out and logged back in to each zone to see if objects previously phase shifted reappeared. i discovered they do not. i was able to replicate in my own phase
War-God Matt 67 Posted August 1, 2019 Both of those zones work fine on my end when phase shifted, so I'm not sure what's going on for either of you.
Myomeme 14 Posted August 12, 2019 I am also getting this problem. If I do not load into Gorgrond first before entering my phase, the supposed to be shifted doodads remain, and you have to relog back to the char screen to fix it.
Dove 27 Posted August 13, 2019 Works fine for me in any zone.
Gork W. Bush 36 Posted August 14, 2019 I have this issue as well, long story short if you leave the zone and logout. Then enter the phase before loading into one of the WoD zones, the doodads that you shifted will still remain, unless you teleport to the zone first and then enter your phase. I even removed all custom content from my Epsilon folder and the issue still remained.
mavvo 23 Posted August 17, 2019 "just because it doesnt happen to me.." doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others. this bug still is a bug. ive even found that collision remains (on an attempt to phase shift taldor) while objects "disappear" azarchius simply brushed it off as there being invis walls but i know the difference between an invisble wall and object collision. Razmataz 14 Posted April 16, 2022 This should, in almost all cases, now be expected and explained behaviour rather than a bug, so I'm closing it. TLDR: WMOs that exist in more than one adt may still be visible, but lack collision. This is fixed by shifting out the other adts it is a part of Doodads may re-shift back in if the defined cap (16 shifts) is exceeded on the map. Limit is per map, not the enitre phase. Doodads may be respawned if people use .doodad mass import without being aware of the implications.
