Myomeme 14 Posted July 25, 2017 What I'd like to see out of this is a potential command such as ".gob perm" after having the certain gobject selected. What it will do is keep the certain object from fading, or have its radius of being visibled doubled than normal. This would help a lot in open-world builds, specifically those without trees, or cinematic views that you don't normally see with building. It could also be used for things like backdrops. Erkor 119 Posted July 25, 2017 GOOD IDEA FOR BIG SCENERY PIECES [Gunmar] says: "I can't believe this 'Arahi' woman went down so fast. Storm my arse." Spoiler
Zenn Ironbeard 13 Posted July 26, 2017 This would be spectacular, even if I'm unsure if it even CAN be implemented, but one can hope.
War-God Matt 67 Posted July 27, 2017 If I remember correctly, this is on the to-do list.
Fraenir 13 Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) I definitely agree. I've been trying my hand at some large scale sets, and it really kills the mood when - for example - from afar you can't see all the ships involved in the naval conflict I've been making. Just ends up looking like one ship nearby and nothing else. Then you move over a ways and another appears while the prior vanishes. Azarchius 212 Posted November 16, 2017 Added to task list. Greatly difficult if not impossible to implement.
