you can make NPC outfits, but what if you could save them as a template? e.g.:

 

you make your custom NPC using .ph forge npc outfit [...]

 

and then use, for example, .ph forge npc outfit save <name> to save that preset for use to the character you're logged in to

 

this'd allow you to more easily swap custom-made displayids between phases if necessary and lets you edit existing npc outfits on other NPCs

Sorry, a little too convulted, don't really understand and seems like a lot of work for a minor slice of life improvement.
