ChatBubble69 - 5C@RL3T 3D1T10N (Now with immersion mode)

What was added?
With extensive babysitting from bunghole, I have updated the window size, changed the Enabled check to the Bubble Mode check, added Immersion Mode.

What is Bubble Mode and Immersion Mode?
Bubble Mode - The normal spells for chat bubbles, exclamation marks, gears etc, appear while you type to indicate that you are doing so.
Immersion Mode - Allows you to instead use character animations while typing for various message types. Characters will look as if they are actually talking when typing messages. (by default only /s, /e, and /y have ids associated with them)
(Both modes can be used alone or simultaneously.)

How do I add my own animations?
If you decide you want to add animations to the empty fields, you can do so easily.
open /interface/AddOns/ChatBubble69/custom.lua in an editor like Notepad++.

Add the desired standstate ids in the quotation marks for the chat type you would like them to be used for. The same can be done for Bubble Mode spells

 

How to use:
- Download

- Install in addons folder

- Launch game
- Type /CBT in chat to open the options panel.

mhmm fixed now. thank you for pointing that out

i forgot i moved the file on the ftp server a while back so some things were nested in the proper place. (cant say i did too good a job at it.) Guess I missed updating this link.

I fixed the download link, which was broken. I do not know what problem you're facing, so please explain and maybe I can try to fix it.

Very nice Scarlet, seems really cool and has some nice additions to the original.  I think the addition of immersion mode is super cool, good work.

I need details. Are you using WinRAR, 7Zip, or some other program? I need a screenshot of the error you're receiving. Can't help you fix a problem when I don't know every step you're taking to get this error.

Have tested using window's built in extraction tool, WinRAR, and 7Zip. Even tested it on my laptop running Ubuntu. Nothing wrong with the download or archive. The only thing is that occasionally the browser will warn that "This file is not downloaded regularly" and prompts you to continue. Other than that? Works perfectly fine.

@Dreadmonsters "No archives found" usually indicates that the archive is corrupted. Compare the downloaded file size to the originally file size and ensure they are the same. If so, then it is likely an issue with the unzipping software you are using. If you're not using 7Zip already, then I suggest you do. Redownload the file and try again.

Wanted to apologise for my behaviour  chatbubble works it appears i was downloading from broken LINK by the way my name on discord is DC Joker Tricks.

@Scharlaken Rosette, Having someone targetted when you type often puts the aura of the chat bubble above their head. Am I correct in saying that there may be a missing 'self' somewhere between lines 48-63 in the main.lua file? I'm no where near fluent enough in LUA to figure it out for myself unfortunately.

Yes, that will indeed fix your issue there. Self was added as an option to avoid that problem.

Every time i use chat bubble link it says "This site cannot be reached" can you please put Chat Bubble file to Mega download link please. I had Chat Bubble on my previous PC when it died now i have new PC somehow it constantly says "This site cannot be reached".
