[Interest Check] Plague Rats - Evil Gits without the Nihilism!

Plague Rats - EVIL WITHOUT ADJECTIVES

Current in-character location: Norquist Lodge (Coming soon!)

Current Officer: Lafeyette

Discord!

Recruitment Status: Open!

About us:

Plague Rats are a guild of Necromancers and the nasty folk who follow them around, gleefully doing whatever is on their minds! The only laws the Plague Rats must follow are thus:

  1. THOU MUST DESPISE THE WARLOCK - Fel magic destroys more than it creates, and Fel furthers the entropy of Azeroth, leaving less stuff behind to reanimate or conquer. Fel magic is impractical, and its users unreasonable and dangerous. Plus, they have territory and infrastructure, and the Rats do not. Clearly, something has to change.
  2. THOU MUST DIE GLORIOUSLY - Needless to say, plenty of the Rats are dead and loving it. Initiates are encouraged to forgo all healing magic, and constantly seek an opportunity for a glorious death. The more splatter-y and violent, the better! Make sure you come back in pieces and have a cool story to tell your mates at the lodge!
  3. THAT IT HARM, DO WHAT THOU WILT - Rats aren't quite obligated to kick puppies around and be unfriendly dicks, quite the opposite! But, they're encouraged to seize whatever they desire, regardless of any toes they might step on. So long as...
  4. RAT DOES NOT KILL RAT - Guilds live off of mutual benefit and trust. To be in a company full of backstabbers and turncoats is silly and stupid. Traitors will be rooted out and eliminated, and Rats are expected to maintain a comfy, joyous, camaraderie! Being evil's hard, it's best to do it with trusted friends and allies! There is no honor among thieves, but there is honor among Rats.

Uniforms are discouraged, as that'd make the Rats stick out like a sore thumb and get the law crashing down on 'em, and any stupid behavior that'd risk or harm the lives of other Rats falls under commandment four. Screwing your friends, witting or unwittingly, is totally uncool, and don't expect sympathy!

Activities:

I'm hoping to connect with other groups to start doing inter-guild plotting. Conflicts, allies, etc. I'll also be happy to run play by post dungeons using some flavor of DnD, usually something along the lines of a traditional dungeon crawl, West Marches style sandbox games maybe, heists, all sorts of good stuff!

IC, the Plague Rats are obviously a bit of an individualist guild. Cliques will form and do what they desire, and so long as they pay their dues, they will always have allies, a safe place to hide, and somewhere to experiment in. The Rats as a whole force will rarely be called upon (making it good for RPers who might have busy schedules!), and sub-groups, branching organizations, etc. are definitely encouraged!

Who's in?:

All are encouraged to join the Rats, from Necromancers (the intended demographic), to street thugs, bored bounty hunters looking for dangerous game, and so on! All that's expected is loyalty and a good attitude among other Rats! The only ones not allowed on principle are those who use the Light (due to a general frowning-upon of Healing magic), and those who use Fel (for obvious reasons!). Plotters, traitors, and general chaotic-stupidity need not apply.

Hierarchy:

Rat King/Queen: Lafeyette!

Council of 13 - (What amounts to a Cabinet, the leader's inner circle):

Packrats (Senior Rats!) -

Full-Patched (Rats who have just earned the right to all the privileges the Guild offers. Trusted.) -

Initiates (Wanna-be rats who wish to eventually join the Guild. Not-trusted, frequently hazed. Still loved regardless.) -

OOC RULES:

  1. Chill! It's all just pretend elfgames. Enjoy yourself, relax, and make some friends! Don't start drama, babyrage over other guilds, etc. It brings the whole mood down and makes the Guild look (actually, OOCly) terrible.
  2. Keep it SFW! Well. No porn, lewds, ERP, etc, in Rats stuff. Seriously. Keep it to... Literally anything but Rats.
  3. I don't want to kick anybody out, of course, but I won't hesitate. I'll try and defuse the situation, but if it's clearly not going to end well if I let it go on, well, hey, I got no choice. *shrug*
