  1. I’m personally really excited for a weapon forge.

I can’t wait to walk up to Romeo in character and hand him his [Glaeweth’s Gauntlets of Thot Decimation] and have her repay me with a good ol’ [Dried Toenail Chassis]

    The excitement is real.

Who's to say that it isn't abiding by canon lore?

Demons have a tendency to stride off and do their own thing. Who's to say that Ciana's ulterior motive is to watch and see how people react to a sudden demonic influence of the land around them, and see how long they can bear with it being around them, or watch people as they converse, learning about them and seeing how they act so that she can one day trap them, and then impersonate them?

You never know dude, demons are tricky.

The entirety of the phase was the very first creation I ever had, phase wise. It was the first thing I ever thought of myself, and put time into building. It's supposed to be a place that's breaking lore standards, you wouldn't see a Felguard and a Paladin standing in the same room, but this phase is supposed to allow that kind of interaction, due to the fact that, well, RP itself is sometimes scarce, and people get desperate, but it's also a fun idea as a phase all together. I've had it for a while, and a few people have loved the thought of it, and I've had time to think over some things and put it all together, to have it make sense, and this is what I've come up with.

It's also just kind of a personal thing, when I want to RP, I can host the phase, that way no one can say that there are no phases open, and there's nowhere to RP.

If you can find a place in the phase where there is not one located, and it's a comfortable enough place for you, go at it, throw hands, it's up to you, but if you do begin to fight around them, they won't hesitate to start letting off shots.)

If you've been to Layet Riverheart's phase before, these are basically my OP snipers, because I'm personally too lazy to have to go around and stop everything myself.

  5. Felcrown Manor Ad.jpg

    Felcrown Manor!

Have you ever gone through a portal, only to end up somewhere you had no intention of going? Look no further! This is the place you would end up every time, most of the time!

Can we get a rewording on that one...?

Have you ever wanted to go to a phase where you could:

    • Have a fun time?
    • Party?
    • Chat with other dumbfounded people who've ended up where you have?
    • Explore a Fel-tainted area that holds many secrets?

    OF COURSE YOU HAVE!

Come down to Felcrown Manor, be it of your own will, or not! Dance, chat, party, or explore! All of the above are at your leisure, should you come!*

*People who use the Light will be watched over, and permitted at the agreement of not harming, damaging, or anything of the sort to creatures, objects, etc. that may be around the premises.

This is Felcrown Manor, a Manor that was somehow placed in the Nether, and found by the current owner, Ciana Wintermoon.

Some may remember this place, though some may be very new to it. To explain in short, it is a place for quite literally everyone to go. No one is excused, be you Shal'dorei, Legion, a Light user, A priest, hell, even Sargeras and the Void Gods are welcome to come and party here. You get the picture. Everything is welcomed, nothing is permitted. Take your hood off, this isn't a cult, or a brotherhood, quit it.

    This place welcomes:

    • Alliance races
    • Horde races
    • Neutral races
    • Demons
    • Void creatures
    • Oddities
    • Abnormalities

You get the picture. You can be just about* anything you want, and you can come and party at Felcrown Manor, as long as you agree not to attack or destroy anything that's there. That's not saying that fighting isn't allowed, but you'll have to either both agree to it (ICly), or fight somewhere that a defense turret is not located.

(There is a turret that is located in the picture at the right. If you can find a place in the phase where there is not one located, and it's a comfortable enough place for you, go at it, throw hands, it's up to you, but if you do begin to fight around them, they won't hesitate to start letting off shots.)

Felcrown Manor is supposed to be a phase for people to come to any time, and will most likely be hosted a lot, it's up to you whether or not you join it. Of course there will be people who can't join the phase because of certain happenings of their character, or what they dislike, but there can always be a reason.

*I would really prefer if you didn't bring dragons and gigantic shit into the phase, but I guess there's always a reason for something to be where it is, just ask me first.

Long story short, I'm going to be really excited when I finish building this place, and I'm going to be hosting it as much as I possibly can, so always keep an eye out for the advertisement.

Hope to see you guys there.

  6. TL;DR, Rename command won't allow apostrophes. It will allow renaming, but not adding apostrophes.

I was in the process of making my Eredar character, when I thought, "Hey, it would be a rather awesome idea to have an apostrophe in his name. Who doesn't like apostrophes?"

Well, apparently the .rename command doesn't. Every time I try to add something (an apostrophe), it tells me 'incorrect values.'

I've tested it multiple times. I can change my name from having a Z, to a X, but I can't add apostrophes.

EDIT: I also should state that my character's name stays within the limit of 12 characters. Not beyond.

  7. Hello, Epsilon! I'm Stitches, and I wanted to make a suggestion about an NPC Creator/Forge.

Most people here are coming from RPH, and are familiar with their Forge, and their custom layout for NPC's (that you could add armor onto and such), but for now, I'm going to stick to the basic NPC Forge. Putting the display ID into, giving a guild tag, renaming, putting a level, giving the choice of showing its level or the infamous "??" level, things like that.

"Well, why should we add a NPC Forge? I think we're fine just the way we are without it, or it coming in later."

I'm glad you asked that question. I do think we could do without an NPC Forge for now, it should be a later priority, there are many things that need to be done before it. However, when people are ready to come into phases, the way that the NPC Forge could come into the scene is like this:

You want to place down some civilians that are in a big circle. Of course, it's a city, and you don't want every individual person to look the same. Use multiple display ID's under a basic name, "Insert City Name Commoner", to spawn in the commonly named NPC's, but they have a chance out of all the display ID's to look different. Some men and women with shirts and pants on, some garbed in armor, some covered in robes, things like that.

"Well, I'm not making a city. I'm making a castle, and all the NPC's look the same. In fact, I found one that works perfectly, armor set and all!"

That's great, but it definitely could be a bit more immersive. All the knights in your castle may be wearing the same attire, but what about some rangers, or other types of knights? I'm sure not all of them use just swords and shields. How about this:

Use the NPC Forge to grab the display ID of the knight, but place a different weapon on it. Maybe a polearm, or a two handed axe. Name it after your castle, "Insert castle name Knight", or give it the guild tag of your castle's name, or your guild, if the castle is your base. The diversity is just enough to make it realistic, or even vice versa, to your liking.

"That's good and all, but why would you suggest it now? I'm sure it would be bound to happen some time soon."

I'm sure it is too, some people would like it sooner than others, some people are just fine without it. Some people need NPC's to build around (Yes, I've seen this before). Some people, speaking for myself, are totally OCD, and would like most, if not everything to be symmetrical, so that it looks appealing to the eye. I wouldn't know if an NPC would have a decent time walking through this place, or if the helmet I'd like my NPC to wear would clip through the ceiling of this place. It's just small things, yes, but sometimes it is better to be safe than sorry. Some people use the NPC Forge for some amazing things too. Giving the opportunity to have gossip channels for NPC's gives a whole new level of immersion for your phase. Perhaps you need a welcomer, someone who explains the rules of your phase, the story of it, or how people's characters got there.

That's why I think we should implement the NPC Forge. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate you reading my post!

  8. Hello there, Epsilon! I'm Stitches, and I've taken a bit of my time out to make a list of commands from Epsilon WoW, since I've heard a lot of chatter about people being confused, and not understanding how some of the commands work. I've made multiple characters and gone through most of the commands now to test and see their purpose.

I've posted this in the #roleplay-announce section of the Epsilon Discord, however, I recommended it to Azarchius himself, and he proposed that I should make it into an actual in-game book. However, I don't know how to do that, as I've never been proposed something like that before.

I'm in need of someone who can assist me with the basics of understanding how to make in-game books, how to make them look proper and all, and I think I could possibly handle the rest. Any and all help would be very much appreciated! This will be for the future of Epsilon, and helping people familiarize the commands so that it flows together fluently and efficiently.

    Thanks for reading, everyone. -Stitches
