    i dont know how it'd go, i think both options have their pros, it's just the cons that necessitate the separation. any effort to maintain both is a step in the right direction, so thanks for the determination and good luck with that ?

    you could probably add the speed at which people post as 'bloated' too. personally I often feel like I lose track in discord and by the time I catch up things already shifted. information just gets lost in the chatter. naturally it feels like people take their time to write something on the forums, so a new post is more nuanced as opposed to someone just saying "fr" in a quick discord message (now pair that with 50+ active people partaking in a conversation).

    discord servers are known to be biased and cliquey, even when it comes to serious suggestion responses - and epsilon is definitely not an exception. the slight anonymity provided by the forums can feel nice. i know you are advocating for accessibility first and foremost which is ?but i think erkor also makes a good point by saying separate long-form discussion from short-form conversation to decrease chit chatter naturally

    but yeah I'm also personally not into moving the entire thing there. coexisting is a fair compromise.

    Not an actual solution ik but I'm personally happier for it. That or avoid any outside/start/ann/feedback interaction (which is coincidentally what I've been told by the lords not to do). Don't befriend anyone who is "vocal" because if X says something then Y is also evil by default due to association alone. You can't discuss anything with people who aren't willing to listen; on the internet, in real life, everywhere. 

    I know it's hard but it will save you the stress in the long run to just remove yourself from these conversations, threads, w/e. I don't want to demotivate you, I'm sure you have good intentions here but at the end of the day this is just a WoW RP private server and this thread alone has put a target on your head. Don't stress over them and they won't stress as much over you.

    Double-edged sword. Like you said, this feature discourages "less active" phases from ever getting the attention they rightfully deserve, which is the reason why (I assume) it has not been implemented despite being very possible.

    Instead of flocking to the most popular flavour of the month, more effort could be focused into making other phases just as active. I assure you people will stay in start just as much, and there's nothing wrong with that when they're taking a break, mogging, or just socialising.

    idk how true this is and to what extent, but it definitely sounds unreasonable. as far as i know, azarchius himself confirmed in a previous thread that they don't/shouldn't care about silly words like cunt/penis/the UNORTHODOX FOREIGN genitalia. So... if such things occur, your best bet would ask him for confirmation or let a GM know.

    either way, that's what i gathered from it. as for the NSFW whispers, keep reporting them, even if it's on behalf of someone else. They matter, that's the positive impression I got. I reported someone for inappropriate whispers and was told it would be dealt with. The same person whispered me AGAIN on another char days later. I don't know if they've only been warned or penalised on the 2nd instance, but some people are also stubborn and may just risk it despite the warnings because horny. I've given it the benefit of the doubt, because I know some people keep repeating offences despite being scolded / punished.
