stil lpersonally i think redrdige is just a bad location to expand, its like all those neutral towns in the mountains of the arathi highlands; its like making a custom island nation next to tr broken isles imo

    good luck

I chose it because nobody else did - and, honestly, the main reason is because it helps tie the beginnings of the story together.

redridge is landlocked how are there boats in the mountains why don't you just make this on kul tiras

It's technically on the coast of Redridge, should have specified.  A few people have gotten confused about this, I'll fix it.

Do you hunt magical whale oil?

I mean, we might do a sea-themed event.  We'll be doing a wide range of things, starting in Southern EK, working our way up to Northern EK, then Northrend, and then we go back to Southern EK.

"We're not a band of heroes, a band of outlaws, even a band of anything.  We're a family for those who don't have one to go back to."
-Demitri Valgarde, Founder of The Wanderer's Guild, to James Venn

Azeroth as a whole has suffered greatly.  From encounter to encounter, its denizens grow more and more restless, more endangered.  In the midst of the chaos, a band of three friends formed the Wanderer's Guild, a home for Adventurers, Outlaws, Misfits, Outcasts, Treasure Hunters, and those seeking a new life.    The three were Demitri Valgarde, Aron Ryans, and Jackson Bouhett.  The three saw potential in the world, potential for greatness.  Not a world without harm, without danger, but one with decency and order.  There, the three formed the Wanderer's Guild, built on a unique system.  The Council of Three, consisting of the Humanitarian Councillor, who takes in the people's consideration, the Military Councillor, who takes in the martial side of every situation, and the Finance Councillor, who manages the spending and earnings of the guild, create the laws, and based on the remainder of the guild's intent, act.

    q2Vi1hL.png

The guild is currently couped up in a quaint town on the coast of Redridge Mountains - Valaroche.  The prime city in Redridge, aside from Lakeshire, manages the affairs in their area, making sure everything stays in order.  The guild consists of the members of the Alliance, Forsaken (who were a part of the guild before death), and a number of Neutral races, such as Steamwheedle Goblins.  Together, they defend the land they call home, using various means, whether the outside world considers them apt or destructive.  They, in the end, plan to do various things to strengthen the wills of themselves, and anyone they can recruit.

    PsuOIIf.png

The guild's event system is simple.  Anyone who wishes to participate at the allotted times is allowed to come as long as they aren't prohibited for IC reasons.  Some examples of events are:  Attacks on Lakeshire and Valaroche; Adventures across the EK; The eventual WINTERMOORE Storyline.  In order to get into the guild, you have to fill out the form at the bottom of the page unless otherwise specified.  The lore follows that of standard WoW, with exceptions being very rare.  Occasionally, events will also allow for outsiders to enter the phase, whether it be a day-long or week-long event, like the Founding Ceremony/Anniversary of the Guild.

    amVqynz.png

There are various rules in the guild, such as the fact you have to allow Character Death or Injury to partake in most events.  However, the guild is still fairly open, and when breaking rules, you are first given warnings.  We will also give the chance for the community of the guild to step in and suggest various features and aspects of the guild to add or change.  When RPing, people are allowed to do practically anything that abides by lore, and of course, logic.  Want to blow up the Guild Hall?  Go right ahead!  Want to kill my character, James Venn?  Don't see why not!  The guild is HIGHLY progressive, and every action has its consequences, good or bad, IC or OOC.

So is this a Scarlet Crusade town?

Well, no.  It -was- one, until a Lich took it over, killing practically everyone, and it became a haven for undead, and our band of adventurers take it over, turning it back into a town, just without the Scarlet affiliation.

Long ago, there was a Scarlet Onslaught settlement abandoned after much time.  It was called Wintermoore, and it still has inhabitants, being ghouls and ghosts.  When rediscovered, it was decided it ought to be reclaimed.  Wintermoore will rise once more!

The story is completely player-driven, and outcomes are based on the wits of characters and players.

    Races:

HUMAN, UNDEAD (HUMAN), DWARF, GNOME, NIGHT ELF, HIGH ELF (LIMIT OF 1), DRAENEI, TUSKARR (LIMIT OF 1), and STEAMWHEEDLE GOBLIN (LIMIT OF 1

    Rules:

1: To join the guild, you must prove that you have veritable Roleplay Experience.  You are not required to have Roleplayed for long, but at least have experience with it.
2: By joining the guild, you consent to your character being injured (severely or not), maimed, or being killed.
3: ERP is not allowed in the phase.  If you are found doing so, you will be warned, followed by a temporary ban (3 days), and finally a permanent ban (f o r e v e r).
4: Respect others in RP.  This means no Godmodding, and no defacing others for IC actions.  LolRPers will be given a temporary ban (2 days) followed by a permanent ban (f o r e v e r).
5: Follow basic courtesy.  This means, simply put, don't fuck things up for others or the guild.  YOU help represent the guild and its fate.  YOU will be held accountable for your actions by us, and the GUILD will be held accountable by the server.
6: You are not to give any information to others (server normies, guild normies) that is going to reflect badly on another person.  Take your problems with guildies to the guild's staff, and same with server members, instead to server staff.

    Overview:

The Wanderer's Guild, as they are called, are a band of adventurers, treasure hunters, outlaws, and outcasts.  Each member of their 'family' has a story, and each one of them has been lead here.  Now, its leader, James Venn, has gone with almost the entirety of the Guild to a long-forgotten island, titled Wintermoore Isle.  Upon it, they find various undead and monsters in their search for loot and redemption.  Unbeknownst to the group, many, if not all, would die there.  The story rests in our hands, now, as they fight their way through the monsters and claim ancient relics and weapons in the meantime.

The guild is completely progressive and player driven, the story unfolding based on the actions of the players.  No secret will be thrown at you, yet if you do uncover it, it will have massive effects.  We're currently looking to broaden our ranks as we finish building.

  7. Hi!  It's me, Equinox, better known as SARI THE SHITHEAD.  I've got a small but helpful guide for you about making CUSTOM SIGNS!  We didn't have them for so long (and still don't!  :c) but we have an alternative!

Step 1: Type .ph for npc create 51525 (51525 is a display ID for a sign.)

Step 2: Type .ph for npc spawn <ID Given From Step 1>

    Step 3: Select the NPC

Step 4: Type .ph for npc name <Insert IC Sign Text Here>

Step 5: Type .ph for npc subname <Insert OOC Sign Text Here>

    Step 6: ????

    Step 7: Profit!

If you somehow didn't understand that, I won't help you.  Maybe I will....  We shall see.  Anyhow, thanks for reading my guide on custom signs!  Now go fill your phase with them you bastards!

P.S. Don't take the bastards bit to heart.

Isn't this that one town from that one server with that lesbian hemonancer mayor?

Not only am I changing the phase's story and location and all that goodness, yes, but I'm dropping the lesbian part since what the fuck was the point in clarifying it?  I mean, jesus, that'd just make her seem like an ERP character.  She's also a lot more pacifistic now, and just has the ability to use hemomancy if it is ever necessary.

I gotta say, there is a bit of a lack of pull in this particular story, You have this really cool base concept being that the settlement was made from a case of inheritance, however you lack some details in some major areas, for example. How did they become a bustling trade town, what goods and products do they offer that make them so desirable, keep in mind port towns have a significantly harder time keeping together mainly for reasons of supplies are very much dependant on larger factions and bodies thus sponsors for these growing settlements are typically needed. Keeping in mind as well Colonial Mortality is SUPER high for various reasons mainly being public health and the dispersal of disease. Food is also another thing you want to consider, growing your own food when it comes to colonial establishment is absolutely paramount to survival and keeping in mind that certain crops can only grow in certain environments, based on the information you have provided, it would seem you would have a tropical biome so work with that! I would imagine that most of this would probably seem like i'm nip picking you, but it's really just to provide you with information regarding the logistical aspect of your phase. Keep that all in mind and i'm sure you'll have one coolio phase. :)

Thank you!  I don't mind the criticism, you bring up very valid points.  I'll do my best to update it a bit to be a bit better.  :3

  11. Four years ago, when Sarielle Neryssia was nineteen, she and her father, Jean-Claude, eventually found an island chain inbetween Pandaria and Vashj'ir.  The younger Sari was mystified by it, and asked her father if they could live there.  Being the kind father he was, he agreed to this, and began constructing a small town for them and his fellow sailors.  After two years, Sari's father passed.  By then, it was a bustling port-town.  Sari wanted to continue Jean-Claude's legacy, so she did what she could to make it the greatest possible.  As with her father, she was not afraid of the Horde and rather liked them, leading to the neutrality of the isles.

On Silverthistle Island was built Silverthistle Keep.  On Blackstone Island was built the Blackstone Quarry.  On Greyshard Island was the Greyshard Quarry.  On the Goldmire Island was the Goldmire Cavern.  And on Bloodrest Island was a tribe of trolls.

Now, Sari is left in charge of the town, with her sister nowhere to be found.  Whether you embark on journeys with Sari as your captain, defend the city from various threats, or just relax in its walls, there's always something to do.
