Romeo 320 Posted September 6, 2017 (edited) Name: Meriel Himmelmoln Moniker: Noblesbane, Ratprincess Age: Nineteen Gender: Female Race: Human Birthplace: Stormwind City Alignment: Chaotic Good Affiliation: Various thug-networks Status: Alive Home: Various tavern attics Voice: Sivir (League of Legends) Meriel was born in Stormwind Ciy during it's re-construction by the Stonemasons Guild. Her father was a relatively fine builder who was favored by a Viscount-Noble and thus had the privilege of working on a mansion for the House of the Viscount. Because of this, Meriel's family – the Himmelmoln, grew quite prosperous in comparison to many other builders and craftsmen of the Stonemasons Guild. While her father was a builder and a strong image for his little daughter, her mother was a steadfast warrior originating from Stromgarde, and because of this, Meriel had the luxury of being taught the ways of diplomacy and discipline by her mother simultaneously as her worker-father showed her the world and how it functioned within cities. Economy, trade and how it all worked – she was given information about it all. Soon, however, the fate of the Stonemasons Guild would be decided. A riot had started outside their house they had bought, guards battled against the Stonemason workers as suddenly, the door blasted open by her father. “Hurry!” He shouted at her mother. “Hide her!” He pointed at their bed as Meriel's mother was quick to guide the little child of eight winters down under the bed. Seconds after that, the sound of blades unsheathing was heard as the father and mother readied themselves for the guards that had made simple work of the 'betrayers' outside. Kadank! The door sounded. Kadank! It sounded again. Bam! Bam! BAM! The door was slammed open by a dozen guards. A gruesome battle begun, the mother of Stromgardian blood making her stand although outnumbered, both mother and father would eventually fall before the might of the guards. Their bodies and blood smeared the floor as Meriel kept hiding under the bed, struck by shock and fear – she was paralyzed. As the guards departed from the broken down house of two dead, Meriel eventually crawled out from her hide, eying down at her dead parents with tears in her eyes. She witnessed the death of her beloved, and in her was nothing – no color, no light left. Forced out on the streets in the somewhat done Stormwind City, Meriel quickly adopted the new ways of life as she crawled amongst the rats of the streets, begging for food and for coin to survive. When this didn't work, Meriel retorted to other means, subtlety, stealth – thievery, to survive in this harsh environment. Life was hard for her these upcoming years, and she survived by adapting to the situations. More and more, she forgot the ways of discipline and diplomacy as her new self emerged, replacing everything that was taught with a merciless mindset of betrayal and anger. However, she had one asset that she could actually use, something that was beyond most thugs and simpleton rats on the streets where she lived – her tongue. Both her father and mother had trained her well in language because of their close connection to the Viscount-Noble, because of this, Meriel was quick to say just the right things in just the right moments. She realized now that this tongue could be used to manipulate – to lie. This got her further into the thug network and soon she would join their infamous gang and rally against the guards and the politicians of the City. King Varian had returned and food was scarce on the streets, this was his fault – all the nobles fault. She and a hand full of other thieves plotted and schemed for months the perfect plan to kill one of the Nobles who was tasked to rule and command over the Old Town next to the guards themselves. In a horrible hit and run strategy that eventually would lead to the death of not only the noble but her comrades in battle as well – Meriel quickly grew a new name for herself, a reputation which sparkled equal hate and fear in the heart of nobles to what she once experienced. A child knelt to the ways of thievery – Noblesbane rose. Edited September 6, 2017 by Romeo
