Cloak recolors coming soon(tm)
There aren't that many cloaks that use the geoset I replaced, so it's a bit of a scavenger hunt.
-
Updated a trait due to a change in heart, and added a brief list of equipment. More detailed descriptions will be found in his TRP.

Hello and welcome to Epsilon! Zach is good company, so I imagine you are great as well.
If you fancy forsaken, take a gander at my signature link.
-
Simple and maybe even rudimentary to some, you do outline a great starting point in TRP profiles for novice roleplayers.

Even experienced roleplayers can learn from this. Glances are glances, not novels.

Welcome friend.

Feel free to hit me up on Discord and we can plan stuff out! Otherwise, take your time, slots are always open in the guild.

I look forward to seeing both of you aboard the Discord, then! Launch approaches, and we have a Dark Lady to impress.

Greetings. I agree with you on that afflicted gilnean part.
-
Shameless bump.
With launch rumored to be coming very soon, I'm eager to get more requests to add to my repository. At the moment, I'm unable to do any test trials - so expect things to be released in clusters post-launch.

My boy and I over here heard y'all like filter selfies.
Look at this banana, he wavy as hell.

Thank you for your well thought out, constructive response. I do not think I could go on with my day had it not been for your inspirational, lifesaving message. Having read this reply, I now house immense knowledge I would otherwise not be able to surpass had you not released it unto me. I am in your debt.

This will already be a feature on release, included within the tiny client I imagine. You can thank Chase for that.

We did not play Legacy, so you may be confusing us with another group that shared a similar name. Either way, I look forward to seeing you on board!

It has been brought to my attention that there are those who are interested in Deathwatch, but do not understand Forsaken and/or Forsaken roleplay.
This is fine. We all start somewhere.
A new section of the Discord has been created - dubbed The Library - where you may ask and learn about all things Undead to your hearts content. You do not have to be a potential member of Deathwatch to participate in this room, either! As previously mentioned the Discord is public to all for ooc means as well. Upon joining, please let me know your intentions and you will be given the learning rank for access to the library room without being bothered by the other channels, unless you opt-in to them.
Every question and idea will be tended to, there are no such things as dumb questions.

Thank you.
I've went ahead and adjusted the ranks as well as the lore to be more specific, as the CotF is a religion and not an organization.
Dreadguard and Deathguard have been removed and combined into Militant, and council is now considered Inner Circle.
We have also taken in Thrawn, who will be assisting in writing and forming guild events.

Origin: Kaldorei
Archetype: Demon Hunter
Affiliation: The Illidari
House: Ravenfall
RPG-Esque Alignment: Lawful Evil
Height: 7'4"
Much like his brother Zanaris, Vetharel stands at an equally intimidating height of seven-foot-four, an inch shorter than he. Similarly, long grey-black hair rests behind his shoulders, fixed into an even middle part to frame his face. If it were not for the horns protruding from Vetharel's head, one could argue he wore his hair well. Where eyes would sit are instead absent, gored sockets. The eyes beneath scarred beyond repair, now replaced by fiendish, glowing wisps of fel-fire like energy, their wild flames flickering haphazardly with each blink before settling.
Vetharel's flesh is a mostly healthy shade of purple, though portions of his shoulders and chest are covered in a layer of what appears to be scales, centered around the dark-green tattoos carved into him, which occasionally give off the faintest of green hues. His form is a toned mountain of muscle, to such a degree one may wonder if it is even natural, for the veins beneath his skin are infused with Demon blood.
The sacrifice Vetharel made long ago has since cast him out from both his house and the rest of Kaldorei society, having chosen to embrace the evil energies that threatened Azeroth in order to fight them as opposed to those who run from it. Only being recently allowed back into this world, both allies and enemies alike view him and the rest of his kind in an uneasy manner.
Heavily augmented and constantly wracked by the Demonic energy Vetharel has siphoned, his mind and body have changed as a result. Unpredictability and aggressiveness are some of his most common traits, making him hard to talk to for anything but business. He will stop at no lengths to purge the threat of the Legion from this world, and take every ounce of energy he takes from his foes for his own gain - perhaps to further enable him to continue on.
His purpose drives him to constantly hunt Demons, and where ever one is spotted or even rumored to have been, Vetharel is likely to make an appearance - subtle or no.
Spectral Sight - Vetharel is gifted with Spectral Sight in place of his former eyes, allowing him to pry through pitiful disguises and invisibility as well as through walls and other obstacles.
Demonic Augmentation - Having absorbed the power of Demons and drinking Demon blood, Vetharel has underwent mutations that augment his strength and agility, but at the cost of appearing Demonic even when not in metamorphosis.
Agile - Vetharel - like most Elves - is gifted with natural agility, though enhanced by his training and mutations.
Eternal Conflict - Deep within Vetharel is his inner Demon, constantly attempting to overtake him and turn him into a slave to the Legion. Coupled with this is his constant torment over the sacrifices he's made, and ever present desire for Demon flesh and fel energy.
Power Hungry - With his eternal conflict, Vetharel has grown power hungry, seeking Demons more ruthlessly than others, craving their energy to consume it for himself and further embolden his hunt.
Willpower - With every slain Demon means more absorbed energy, and with more absorbed energy means more torment to Vetharel's mind. To sustain this constant gnawing pain is a display of raw willpower. He does not submit.

Lead by the meticulous yet devious Zanaris Ravenfall, Deathwatch is a brutal subfaction that is widely known for being well versed in infiltration, strategy and execution. It is mainly composed of Forsaken loyalists, those that fanatically follow Sylvanas and her quest for Forsaken glory. Their allegiance with the Royal Apothecary Society and involvement within the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow grant them access to a wide arsenal of weapons to use against their enemies, many of which are frowned upon politically, or are simply illegal by way of ethicacy.
Since their creation, they sought to become a political entity in their own right, seeking to be “enforcers” of the Dark Lady’s will throughout Tirisfal, Silverpine and Gilneas, if not where ever her sights rest. Due to this quest, they have crossed blades many-a-times with both the late Scarlet Crusade and varying Alliance military and paramilitary forces. With that being said, they have managed to maintain a shroud of anonymity among their ranks. Deathwatch is known, what they do is known ... but their members are unidentified and nameless, spare rumors.
Their primary goal is to ensure the Forsaken remain plentiful and rightly powerful; for their race cannot procreate. While tensions are always going to be high, and rare cases cause them to blow out of proportion, they are assisting the Horde and Alliance with the Legion army.
Deathwatch is confident that they will eradicate the Legion threat, no matter how vast, alongside anyone who stands in the way of the Forsaken.
Deathwatch is a Forsaken oriented Horde guild that aims to not only supply Horde roleplay with an array of interesting, compelling characters for both their allies and enemies alike, but to bring the label of intimidation, shadiness and perhaps even fear back to the Forsaken.
Undead have always been a high-interest topic for me and portraying them to their full effect in a group hell-bent on Sylvanas’ goals has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Past iterations of Deathwatch, either using the name or another, have not performed the way I’d like them to . . . be it my own ignorance, or those I allowed on board.
It is to be noted that, when I mention we want to become a political entity in our own right, I do not mean officially or personally to Sylvanas herself - but without any relation. The former is impossible. We simply seek to take her concerns and matters into our own hands and be recognized for it.
Well over a year has passed, both the guild and the Zanaris character have been rewritten, revised and had retcons take place. I am confident that this time around, THE DREAM of Deathwatch can be fulfilled properly. It’ll be composed of fresh, new faces, perhaps some old, too - those that understand the guild, and don’t seek to turn it into a lore inaccurate memefest. If you have any concerns, feel free to voice them here or on the Discord. More information on that will be provided in later sections on the topic.
All RPH events have been retconned. Do not expect to be acknowledged if you bring them up IC.
Ranks within Deathwatch are measured by one’s participation in the guild, and their skillsets. Ranks like Apothecary are fixed and do not raise - penalties are handled IC and often end with removal, imprisonment or worse.
Hand - The highest position one can wield within Deathwatch. Hands, limited to two, are Zanaris’ personal advisors and allies. They are also part of the council. Missives go to the Hands before Zanaris. If he is not present, they speak for him.
Inner Circle - Trusted members composed of Deathwatches most skilled strategists and negotiators. They attend meetings with the Leader and any Hands, and may even be sent forwards for parlays or other methods of nonviolent conflict.
Militant - These members serve more as the frontline for Deathwatch. They can be found in any scenario, and always accompany parties.
Apothecary - Members of Deathwatch who are part of the Apothecary Society that provide their expertise in elixirs, poisons and other potentially volatile chemicals. Deathwatch and the Society share a mutually beneficial relationship.
Conjurer - Those finely attuned to the Arcane arts fall under these ranks. Their power varies based on classification. They fit into any group; their skills useful to all ranks.
Shadowstalker - Advanced scouts who possess eloquence in assassination and sabotage. These units are some of the most prized for protecting the guild and the interests of the Horde.
Scout - Members of Deathwatch who are esteemed in stealth and subterfuge. This rank is almost entirely composed of those who fit a rogue or tracker’s agenda.
Recruit - Newly situated members of Deathwatch who do not currently fit into any niche, or have not yet made progress. They are assigned to tasks based on their skillset and where they may potentially end up ranked under.
To advance one’s rank in Deathwatch is to have the appropriate skillset and attitude. Your participation in guild happenings and events will display your devotion and each action you do will heighten your chances of a promotion. Your character and their identity are what determines how they progress. The scale of power between ranks is kept on an equal scale and always kept within balance.
For instance, a recruit with the skillset of a frontline fighter can display this articulacy and move up to Militant over time.
However, misconduct can lead to penalties, removal or even true death depending on frequency and severity. These decisions are usually discussed between Zanaris and the Council, though exceptions can occur.
Recruitment in Deathwatch used to be an open invite for those looking to get started, and there was an awkward, botched recruitment process that never really went the way it was supposed to.
Now, there is a brief form - we’ll just call it an application - that you must fill out. It’s essentially just who your character is, with a few RP-oriented choices. After submitting, you will be contacted as soon as possible so you’ll know if you’ve been accepted.
It’s come to my attention that some of you are from RPH, and as such have heard about the previous rendition of both Deathwatch and Zanaris.
Having questions and concerns is totally okay! Regardless of what you’ve been told or heard, or even seen, it’s best to come to the source - me - for the actual story and clarification.
The discord, as well as this forum topic, are where you can voice any and all concerns. They will be addressed as soon as possible. I also plan on backing everything I clarify upon with both my & the guild’s actions. Rules have been made and they will be enforced.
Don’t you worry.
You can find the Discord here, which is public and houses a room for questions/concerns as well as an ooc channel for members and nonmembers alike.
