    Hello,

    This was brought to my attention today with the items Silkweave Cinch [126993] and Warhide Jerkin [128876]. When you type out the command .phase forge npc outfit equip 126993 or 128876 these items do not add and attempt to equip a 0 value for the display ID.

    EDIT: I cannot seem to add weapons to NPCs either. When using the .phase forge npc weapon add command, it always says "Item slot must be between 0 and 5" even when I tell it to set it to 1.

    I was looking for this command in an event I was helping to host tonight. Eventually I spawned a skybox to compensate, but I would love for this to be implemented!

    Hi Brune (and Creakko!),

    If you are unable to log in after registering your account at https://epsilonwow.net/register then you may have have not installed the client correctly.

    Please double-check the steps in our connection guide and let me know if this resolves the issue. The most common problem I hear of is that users are missing the tc_bundle.txt file. It can be downloaded here (just place it in your Epsilon directory). You should also make sure that the Config.wtf file located in your WTF folder has this line:

    SET portal "play.epsilonwow.net"

    If this doesn't help either of you please let me know and I'll get in touch with Deramyr and Azarchius for additional troubleshooting. Best of luck!

    The local drunkard is a classic dwarven touch! I'm glad to see such a well thought out character concept. The gryphon being an integral part of his character from an early age is how I would also write a Wildhammer dwarf.

    His mother's death was a little heart wrenching, but I enjoyed the Second War history. I especially enjoy it when characters are a part of lore without writing themselves into the official Blizzard narrative and I think you accomplished this very well. (Although, Redpath was a clever reference to the family.) His use of a rifle is unconventional for a Wildhammer and something I might not have pursued, but I appreciate that you justified it with his exposure to riflemen in the Battle of Mount Hyjal.

    Overall this is an excellent character! Great work. (:

    What an incredible concept, Dizzy! I have never personally joined any Scarlet Crusade guilds before, but I'm very interested in the cause-and-effect system. It is realistic, which is something I don't see often enough of in Warcraft role-play. I'm looking forward to this guild and I may resurrect an old character for it!

    In the meantime if I can offer any feedback or suggestions about the concept or any events you want to plan out please let me know. I would love to see your guild flourish. (:

Everyone may have heard me say that the server is a community effort in previous years and it is critical we never lose sight of that.

    It was frustrating for me to have all of these ideas and to feel that no one cared about them. I feel a little bit silly in retrospect; I felt this way because communication was not very effective between the player base and the administration. Now we are in a position to communicate that the administration is aware of these issues and wants to act on them. I want everyone to feel comfortable coming to me and other staff members if they have any concerns or questions. Mistakes have been made but I want to see this server become successful very much and to achieve that we all must work together.

    I think it is alright for me to go a step further and say that a command such as .rp list is in the works and I am asking about it constantly (in fact, this is my opinion as a player but it should be one of the top two priorities for Epsilon at the moment). As for documentation I understand that MindScape has worked to improve this for commands in the past but I will ask Azarchius if there is anything I can do to help him expand on them. Commands such as .rename need a little bit of attention and the Phase Forge especially. If you think of anything else at all, please let us know and I will make sure you are heard by all of us. (:

    Hi Albatros,

    I'm not sure why this is the case but if you're unable to ping the server this may be a result of a firewall blocking your access. I'll send this thread to Deramyr for a follow-up just in case it has anything to do with the dedicated server.

    You're both right! I know most of us share the same sentiment and I'll be pushing for more active phase role-play and quality of life improvements as much as I can. I hope everyone else will do the same; Azarchius hears all of our feedback, and as we suggest more additions he'll continue to do what he does best.

    As for phases this is where the community comes together best. Host some and then some more! I can't wait to pop in on my characters and see what we all create. (:

    Thank you! I'm excited to return to a moderator role and to see so many familiar faces.

    My priority with the community is going to be to generate role-play. There is so much potential for us to grow here and I know that together we can accomplish much. If anyone has a phase concept they are thinking about, or if they need any feedback on their ideas, or even any general matters, please don't hesitate to ask me!

    Vojtik is correct. In anticipation of patch 7.3, we have had to modify the way the client receives custom data.

    Use the command .npc near to locate nearby NPCs. Then, use the .npc delete command to delete them by GUID.

    For example, typing .npc near returns the result "123456 - NPC Name Here" where 123456 is the GUID.

    Therefore, I type .npc delete 123456 and it deletes that NPC without having to select it.

    Hi FilthySlovak,

    I can see the amount of effort you put into this piece! I enjoyed reading it. I would have liked to see more environmental detail; the winding stairwell that takes her into the crypts was a nice touch. You think of places like the Slaughtered Lamb as shoddy and damp, after all.

    I might have panned to the Broken Shore briefly as the warlock said the line "Soon, the forces of Legionfall shall storm the Tomb of Sargeras and land a decisive blow to the Legion's plans!" E.g., "Her thoughts shifted to the Broken Shore, where the king had fallen. She and others of her craft knew firsthand how the Legion had decimated the forces of the Horde and Alliance. It was a victory all demons boasted of, even those who owed no loyalty to Sargeras." Does she think they stand a chance at a second assault, for example. It's a great opportunity to expand on her character some more in the text.

    Otherwise, more detail into the ritual she performed would have been nice, i.e. how she stored his soul in the soulstone. These vague areas in Warcraft lore are where I like to explore the use of creative license.

    Great short story! I'm looking forward to more from you. (:
