    No. You're free to share your opinion and your experiences with other servers, just don't bring drama from other servers,

    would also be wise to not use opinions to blatantly trash other communities, it could start arguements

    This is a suggestion not to get rid of overcoats, but to add them as a standalone patch downloadable here, much like RPH's cloak patch worked. I use that as a reference because it is simple to install, easy to find, and it doesn't cause instability. This way, until mogit is fixed, players could use it of their own discretion, so that if they wanted mogit over the overcoats, they could use it, and if they wanted overcoats over mogit; They could as well.

    Simply a temporary solution that would be far easier than keeping the cloaks in while fixing everything. Although this is merely a suggestion, and I've no knowledge of how it might actually work mechanically.

    Honestly it would probably be more work to remove them and attempt to fix the problem. It's not the overcoats preventing mogit from loading. Mogit is attempting to load models that no longer exist in the game files so it essentially causes other things to stop in it's tracks. (This was more or less the "official explanation")

    Back to removing the overcoats though. it's part of the "Big Patch 1" thing, which has caused some amount of instability as a side effect, these problems apparently were not present on the development realm, so the easiest solution is really just leave it be and find what broke.

    I can promise you this isn't the case. if it were, there would be no way to even connect to the server as it now requires CDN communication. I have an exe myself that allows for both.


  6. That thread containing the dev client was shut down because clientside loading is no longer supported. They cannot account for the bugs and client breaks you may encounter. We are, however, permitted to patch our own exe to allow testing, we just won't receive any help from the staff team in doing so. it's understandable. If you understand the risks involved and are willing to take them, thus losing any help from the staff team with errors, bugs, or glitches you may encounter, send me a dm on Discord and I can help you do this. Just ensure you're aware that you will not receive any support whatsoever.

    EDIT: It's been a topic beaten to death, but also keep in mind that this only works until we update to 7.3. then it's gone for good.

    If you get banned you can always appeal. I'm fairly certain all the ban does is restrict what you can do on the forums, so you'll always have the option to post an appeal. Epsilon's staff team -is- quite lenient, so if you're a good sport you may never have need of ban appeals. Not all servers operate the same way, so I can understand why you might be cautious. At the end of the day, just have fun on epsilon within what the rules say and you're pretty much promised a calm stay.

    This command basically toggling whether or not the phase is hosted 24/7. And with x+ amount of players in it, the phase gets autohosted.
    A minimum player amount requirement to filter out old phases with .ph hosted still toggled on.

    When multiple phases with more than the requirement in which are hosted toggled on, it could randomize whatever gets autobroadcasted.

    This would probably work better than what I suggested

    I say go for it!  I'm sure you'd get numbers if it's pulled off well enough.  And I'd furthermore: be interested in how you make the city.

    as it is, the idea is to use the culling of Stratholme map. The damaged parts of the city will have to be built outside and use portcullis as teleporters (this is necessary anyway because of invisible walls, so it wouldn't be jarring or anything

    That's the idea, but since I have to work around some of the culling of stratholme map parts, some parts of the map are going to be planned for events only (like the scouge and burning areas.
    Player housing is probably going to be the only thing outside the main city.

    For the moment, the plan is probably use the map that already exists for it. Truth be told there's no need for a massive open area when people pick maybe 3 spots to gather
