Afraid you can only customize your character on your own. If you wish to change a race, you got to request a Game Master to flag you for a faction change.

Welcome to Epsilon! Already RPed with your Hujon! He's a lot of fun. ^^

I'd love this! I want to host my phase 24/7!

The Reaching Enclave
[240]
Brief History of the Island
The Reaching Enclave as it’s commonly called was just another small islands that formed when the world sundered into the continents we know today. The Island lies directly between Howling Fjord(Northrend) and Highmountain(Broken Isles). The flora consists mostly of pinetrees with a couple of leafy trees poking in. Most well-known iconic plants would be the giant blueberries that seem to enjoy the climate of the island. The fauna mostly consists of bears, wolves, deer, elk, squirrels, hares, birds and even rumoured to have rather large spiders; more rarely seen are the polar bears, penguins, lynx, ducks, and at times even the mountain lions. The island itself is mostly surrounded by sky-reaching mountains, with the most famous one being the Warmrock Mountains.
The Island is known to offer home to Alliance, Horde, vrykul, a type of furbolg, gnolls, banshee, wraiths and even a small clan of tuskarr.
The following locations only exist in the island lore and are not accessible in-game.
Ruins of Tyrfall
SpoilerTyrfall was a human settlement founded about a thousand years ago by a group of religious Kul Tirisian settlers, lead by a fierce Priest. Their lives mostly consisted of fishing, farming and tailoring. The famous rich purple color is rumoured to have come from this place. They lived calmly for hundreds of years, their most common enemies being pirates and bandits. That changed when a group of rogue black dragons settled in on the nearby island and nearly wiped out the town in one blow.
Dragon’s Roar Isles
SpoilerThe isles were lush in flora and fauna before the dragons arrived and barely barrened the land in search of something. The reason the isles got their name after the dragons was because when strong winds blew on the isles through the hills and trees, it sometimes created a dragon-roar like sound.
Nowadays, no dragons remain on the isles but citizens of the Island are still warning people not to go there, claiming the land is cursed and will claim any who dares to cross it.Corvenshore
SpoilerCorvenshore is a human settlement that was formed of refuges of Tyrfall. The town is still active and doing fairly well. It’s most known for their strong ships and amazing smoked fish.
Marlock Grove (Skoldward)
SpoilerThe Grove is essencially an extension of Haruma but as well as the city, long since abandoned and forgotten. The grove seemed to have served more as a religious destination based off the temples and shrines that were all over that place.
In recent days, it’s rumoured to host a small clan of Vrykul settlers.Hok’ram Village
SpoilerHok’ram Village is relatively new to the island, being the only Horde settlement. A group of Orcs settled here in search of minerals and other resourcers as well as treasures from the lost elven and human settlements. They are also rumoured to have requent visits to the Dragon’s Roar Isles. Surprisingly, the village is lead by a goblin.
From here on, these locations are accessible in-game.
Ruins of HarumaSpoilerHaruma, which roughtly translates to “Surrounded Land” in Old Darnassian, was formed more than nine thousand years ago when a group of highborne seeked refugage away from the rest of the world, being shunned for their love of magic. There they lived peacefully for centuries, practicing magic and studying new easier ways to cast spells. The Haruma hosted a large academy for purely magic study. Some of the lost magic-books are rumoured to still reside in these ruins. Why the once mighty city of Haruma died out is still unknown to the modern archaeologists but rumours and old folklore state that a powerful sorcerer went rogue and caused a ley line to explode right under the city. However, signs to prove this claim have not been found.
Tower of GadiethSpoilerGadieth was the most powerful of sorceres, the mother of magic and the oldest and most wisest teacher. It was believed she had been in the mage-council of Queen Azshara herself. To praise her deeds, she was built a tower that is in an unbelievably good condition to this day. Every century, Gadieth took a new student under her wing and taught them everything there is to know about magic and its manipulation. She was believed to hold the Relic of Har'diel which was told to be a gift from the Gods and the source of her incredible power. It’s rumoured to be haunted by Gadieth’s once loyal servants.
Ruins of Blightforge
SpoilerBlightforge formed around when Lich King rose on the Frozen Throne. It was a Scourge settlement which focused on finding an ancient powerful relic on the island which rumouredly was in the hands of Gadieth. Before they could find it or finish their digging, they were conforted by the Argent Crusade and eventually by the fall of the Lich King.
Nowadays, by local’s words, the ruins seem to host a rather strange new greenish structures. It’s believed the ruins might now host a small group of demons.
Warmrock Mountains
SpoilerUnlike its other sky-reaching counterparts, Warmrock Mountains lack the snow-coat at the top. The stones are unusually warm which force all the snow that it comes in contact with to melt away. According to a dwarven geologists, there’s vulcanic activity under this mountain, causing it to warm up in the way it does. The place is also the only area on the island that can allow a rare type of tree to grow with golden leaves and grayish bark. The tree is often used for a lot of healing remedies.
Frozen Peak
SpoilerCompletely opposite of it’s warm counterpart, Frozen Peak seems to never lose it’s snowy coat. The winds near the mountain are bone-chilling cold, unlike anywhere else in the Island, even at higher mountains that the Peak.
Light’s Harbor
SpoilerLight’s Harbor is the biggest currently active settlement on this island. It used to be called Havenmoore, barely a village, and consisted mostly of refuges of Tyrfall but when the Argent Crusaders arrived because of the increasing Scourge activity and were allowed to take over the settlement, it was renamed. Eventually, being the most calm landmass in which Argent Crusade was dominated, the garrison became the end-stop of the refuges from destroyed Northren settlements. The size it has grown, it caused the town to become a very good spot for faction-neutral trading. Orcs were trading to humans, blood elves were trading to night elves… Even now, the settlement remains faction-neutral and is currently lead by a couple of human and blood elf nobles.
ReligionSpoilerAs the main settlement of the Island, Light's Harbor, is heavily influenced by the Argent Crusade, like the order itself the main religion on the island is the Light. However, other religions are not frowned upon, although shrines and altars have not been made for such. There are a couple of known druids and Elune followers within the citizens as well.
Leadership
SpoilerIC Leadership:
Mayor: Lothomas Lighthand
Guard Commander: Tyriandar Quel'Belore
OOC Leadership:
Phase Owner: Janna(me) & Nilith
Phase Officers: Mithaniel, Insomnia, Lighthand, Norshar, Kerothan
Advisor to Officers: Tiariana
RPG Dungeon Master: Wabbajack
More info about this can be found in our Discord!SpoilerDoes phase 240 offer housing?
Yes! We currently have 23 actual houses to offer in various locations(most are actually taken now!). Of course, people are also always allowed to set up their tents where they find a spot in the forest.Does your phase have a guild?
Yes. The guild name is "Light's Harbor".
Who leads your phase?
Current IC leader is called "Lothomas Lighthand" or simply as "Lighthand" OOCly. OOCly me and Nilith lead the phase with our officers. How often do you host?
I'll try to host as much as possible, which might be a couple of hours a day. I'm in the EU timezone, so that's where the hosting will be. However, the phase will be open 24/7, so you are welcome to come anytime! And if I find a reliable US person, the phase might even be hosted in both timezones. Is the phase custom-lore friendly?
Not particulary. We try to keep the custom lore as minimum as possible. Of course, smaller-scale custom-lore is fine as long as it fits into the WoW universe. Is this phase faction-Neutral?
Yes. Being neutral is part of this place's lore as it's Argent Crusade themed. How are you going to handle currency? Is there a system in place for that?
There's no set system for it but we aim to have it as realistic as possible for WoW itself. So for example, having 1 gold is a huge amount of money. How far do you intend to expand this island?
Unfortunately the map is rather limited and not all locations can be created on the same map. If there is demand for it, the extra places will be built but on different maps and only accessible with teleports. Will it be done in chapters of the owner's design or as players explore and the lore is continually uncovered and built?
There are multiple DM's hosting events weekly of different stories, giving people varierity to join different themed events should they not like one DM.Will you be harsh on... "Lulzy" characters and if so; what kind of regulations will you have for a non-quality character?
Rather harsh but fair. "Lulzy" characters will be warned twice and if nothing changed, kicked. If they return but have failed to make a change, they will be blacklisted. What do you consider "lulzy"?
God-emoters, relatives of Lore characters, wearers of artifact weapons (for example, the Ashbringer), scale 1.4+ people, ridiculously overpowered characters without valid lore (for example, 21 year old archmages), etcWhat of exotics?
As long as your exotic character makes sense to be there. If you're a Saurok, a native race for Pandaria, of course it makes no sense for you to be here. However, if you're a Highmountain tauren, you could have just sailed north in the times of war on the Broken Isles and stumbled upon the place. What of your staff for the phase? Will they be individuals with power IC'ly? Or not. And who would they be and if willing; what kind of moderation have they done?
My current officer team varies from "new to Officering" to "veteran Officer", couple of them have come from RPH and are here to help me keep up the phase. Some officers have no IC power in the phase, some do, depending how they feel like having it.What of guilds or merely IC companies that would like to base themselves within your phase? How would you go about to handle that?
They'll have to join the Discord and cooperate with the phase mods and owners. Otherwise, anyone who wants is welcome to bring their guilds into the phase.Do I get blackjack and hookers there?
If you find any. :^) But keep the ERP out of the phase, please~.If there are any more questions, please ask me either in Private or here under the forum post!
SpoilerWe have Discord up and recently made a guild as well. But the guild is not a must-join!
Discord: https://discord.gg/dYRtdNV
Channel: /join Phase240
Guild: "Light's Harbor"
This post will be updated once there's more to add. -

@Killaninja12 It's not autistic. Not everyone wants to see memes 24/7. I'd like it if I could see people's screenshots, etc, but I really don't feel like seeing all the boring memes... Unfortunately right now those two channels are connected.
-
Hello!
Could we have a separate channel for in-game screenshots in Discord?
Not that I don't appreciate the "images" channel, I'm just tired of seeing elmo memes and other similar stuff but I'd still like to see what people are up to in their phases/RP. -
A friend of ours is having an issue where he has 130 NPCs created and he can't reach the ones he needs because of the chat limit. Could ".ph forge npc list" have a limit of 50 names as well like the ".lo item" and ".lo gob" has?
Thanks! -
Doesn't only have to be guides, you know. People could make their character pages there, too!
-
-
Oh neat! I'd pay for something like that. Easily 25€ just for a portrait.

Just had some new art done of Kit!!
-
Sooo~... How about those guild shirts? Let's say black t-shirts or red, white even, without the need to be in guild or having guild icon on them. Just plain t-shirts.
Here's the shirts what I mean: -

Custom patches won't work in 7.3, they will be client-side now.

Was in the event yesterday and can guarantee quality RP-time! Very fun evening, thanks! \o/

Yep.

@Grandmaster Pa You can't cover up elf ears though to make them look shorter. Don't think it works that way.
-
Here's the obligatory "hue fuck half-breeds!"
Now that's done-... Adding new hairstyles is one thing since the hair is standing completely ceperate from the model but adding new types of ears is a little more difficult than that. You have to make sure the new ears are moving along to the bones (as ears wobble when elfs run), and there's so many different aspects that just don't work with longer-eared bones.
What can be done, however, is making at item that is essencially a helmet or works like a spell and makes for example humans look like they got elf ears. Instead of working on the model, one would just take the elf ears and turn them into a helmet. -

There's been rumours of the avalance slowly being cleaned up west of the forest to open a passage to a certain elven ruins.
