I don't know about a wiki right now. Forum activity is down as it is; I think our focus should be on the forums, and then if traffic increases we can consider a wiki. I am open to the idea of managing one, but I want it to be a worthwhile time investment for the community.

Yes. We have no issue as long as it is not done in public. The potential to impersonate the staff is too great, otherwise we do not mind if you use it for private role-plays and such.

Hi everybody, We've updated the context of the rule to provide better clarification: Chat Modification: Changing the colours of messages you send to public mediums is not allowed. Addons which only modify the messages on your client are allowed, however those which may affect other players with the same addon are frowned upon. The reason this rule exists is because in the past these add-ons have been used to impersonate the administration. We will not stop you from using add-ons in your phase to enhance your experience, but we remain committed to enforcing the rule in public mediums such as the announce channels and the start zone. I hope this has helped to clear some of the air.

I suggested this in a recent staff meeting. Hopefully the poll and community feedback will both be solid steps toward refocusing our efforts. Thanks for the response Matt, I'll make sure everyone hears it loud and clear.

I would like to participate in this open discussion as a player as well. However, regardless of my or any other staff members' views, the administration will respond to the majority vote. My initial compromise was to pin an image in the channel that discourages logical fallacies. Players should be able to join the #politics channel and enjoy political discourse, but the channel should be subject to the same rules as the rest of the Discord. Communication should not be restricted in any additional capacity (notwithstanding the current rules). I believe the channel is fine the way it currently is and that the administration should act to mediate heated debates and enforce the existing rules as necessary. To that end I have cast my vote for "no action is necessary." The image I pinned to the channel is attached.

Hello everybody, The administration has received a great deal of feedback concerning the #politics channel on our Discord server. While we are committed to providing a fair environment and we believe in players' freedom of speech, some of us have expressed that stronger measures are necessary to make sure the channel can function properly. In an effort to incorporate a greater community role in the server we have agreed to create a poll for players to decide what should be done about recent discussions in #politics. The purpose of this thread is for players to constructively offer their opinions and play a part in the server. Much like other phase-based servers in the past, the phases on Epsilon are autonomous. I attended a Silverthistle role-play today which is not based entirely in lore and has custom aspects. Everyone has their own opinion on how to role-play. It is as simple as agreeing to disagree, my previous post was intended to offer a solution both sides could agree on. Whether you incorporate custom lore into your phase or you abide strictly by lore (or somewhere in-between) your phase is yours to do with as you wish. I would be happy to continue this conversation in private if you feel this is an issue that affects the community at large, or on a relevant thread. Of course! I look forward to seeing what Scarlet comes up with for the incubus, and I am confident Tiariana will help to make sure the final product is implemented. (:

This topic has quickly become derailed, but allow me to clear some of the air: Content creators are more than welcome to submit their work for review and implementation. The purpose of the CDN server, aside from paving the way for 7.3, was to make it possible to add to the game instead of having to overwrite files. As mentioned previously I do not think that the dev team has the time to dedicate to this suggestion currently but anyone is welcome to create the custom model or re-texture for an incubus and submit it. With all that has happened in the Warcraft universe since the releases of Chronicle and Legion I fail to see how incubi are an impossible occurrence. The succubi have perpetrated the rumors from CDev which leaves room for a creative license can be explored. They come from the same planet: what if a succubus summons an incubus to do her bidding, perhaps to infatuate oneself with a female target, or as fuel for some profane fel ritual, or so on? Perhaps somebody will host an event series that explores the long lost secrets of the incubi. We have already been to several prominent Legion worlds including Argus and Nathreza in the Illidan novel. It is possible to abide by Warcraft lore and be creative. (:

Hi mamozen, While there are 3D modelers on our dev team, I hope you will understand the highly advanced nature of your request. Beyond creating a new model for the incubus (which includes texturing, UV mapping, animations, skeleton and bones) this will require us to edit multiple creature and spell DB2s and would consume far too many resources than is worthwhile. If somebody on the dev team finishes their projects and has the desire to invest in this project they may. But I would advise you not to hold out for this being implemented.

Hi Hexty122, This is a bug that occurred in the latest server rebuild. Azarchius is aware of the problem and it will be resolved soon. In the meantime we apologize for the inconvenience.

Welcome to the server, Timemaker! Romeo summed it up beautifully. The only thing I would add to his post is that players can create their own phases to play in. There is also a main phase and a hangout at the character spawn location (.tele start). We operate like an all-GM server with an emphasis on RP, so most of the commands are designed to help people build with gameobjects and NPCs so they can advertise their phases. If you have any other questions please feel free to let us know!

Arynn, your artwork is gorgeous! I think there is no shame in accepting money in exchange for your services. You are absolutely qualified enough. Unfortunately I cannot provide much criticism as I am not much of an artist. However, I like the cartoon style. (:

Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with the core to answer this question, but I did refer this to Azarchius so he is aware that certain WMOs will not render with the current setting.

Hi sirstephen, This is possible through a model edit. I'll send the thread link to our patch team in case anyone wants to take a crack at it, but they each have their own projects already. You would only need to delete the mesh for the mask. If you download M2Mod and Blender and extract the .m2 from the client with a program like CASCExplorer, this would be an easy edit to do and submit to the team for implementation. If you want the edit immediately I would advise this course of action. Best of luck!

Hi Dink, There is more information on your error in this thread: Changing passwords does not work at the moment. This is likely the cause of your error and we are working to fix it. In the meantime, you will need to either re-create your account or contact either Azarchius or Deramyr to have your password manually changed. I hope this helped resolve the issue!
