Azarchius released a major update to the server just hours ago. I did disconnect once so far, but as of this posting the server is online.

I think you both would benefit from reading the Illidan novel. Every Illidari demon hunter survived the same training and received the same tattoos and powers. Refer to my above post for more information also. There are no exceptions to spectral sight, there are no versions of it; demon hunters invariably see demons. They see all forms of magic.

The Illidan novel elaborates on demon hunter sight beginning on page 77 and it goes more in-depth beginning on page 88. They can see all forms of magic; refer to the War of the Ancients trilogy (Illidan's meeting with Queen Azshara) and the Felwood demon hunter questline in Cataclysm for futher reference. Dreadlords are not an exception to spectral sight. No demon is. From Illidan: “You are saying you can shift from seeing the world like this to seeing it as if you had eyes?” “Indeed, and many gradations between.” He tried to imagine Illidan as he had previously seen him, and slowly a very rough image of the Betrayer stood before him, like a child’s illustration drawn in mud. Its mud mouth moved as Illidan spoke. “In a way it is like working magic. You get a feel for the flows of power. You get a sense of the souls of the living and the unliving.” From The Sundering page 37: Illidan caught his breath as he turned his senses to the queen. A brilliant radiance surrounded Azshara, a silver glow he finally recognized as indication of the power she wielded. Illidan would have blinked if he could. Although Azshara had been beloved by all her people, some, such as him, had assumed that her skills in the arts were negligible. He had always believed that she had required the might of the Highborne for the casting of spells. Illidan wondered if even the late Lord Xavius or the erstwhile Captain Varo'then had ever understood just how accomplished their monarch was. ... “I've been most impressed by you, Illidan Stormrage! So very clever, so very powerful! Even our Lord Sargeras sees that or else why would he grant you such a precious gift?” Long, tapering fingers caressed the scarf. “Such a shame to lose the beautiful amber eyes, though…I know it hurts much…”

At the moment I believe all NPC factions are set to friendly. This may change in the future as the NPC forge becomes more developed. You can use the .lookup item command to find items in-game, i.e. you would type .lookup item Corrupted Ashbringer and then press Enter. This should return the result "22691 - [Corrupted Ashbringer]" where 22691 is the entry ID you use for the .add command. Next, you type .add 22691. So if you type .look item namehere and .add numberhere, you can add items to your inventory such as the Dreadnaught gear or the Corrupted Ashbringer. (: This is a little more advanced, but we also have access to the .lookup itemset command. The sequence looks like this: .lookup itemset Dreadnaught's Battlegear -> .additemset 523 Typing .additemset 523 will add all of the Dreadnaught armor to your inventory at once.

In past years I had often said that any role-play server is a community effort. This is still true today. I am less interested in how strict our moderators are; activity and communication are the largest areas of improvement. It is mildly disheartening to mention a staff member in a conversation and have the recipient ask me, "Who is that?" I think I made my stance on this clear earlier in Discord. If we heard more directly from a more active staff team and received fewer blanket responses, (e.g. some of the debacles we have had in #politics or #images in the case of this thread) many of these issues would resolve themselves in time. Players want to be shown that the staff team cares.

We are supposed to be updating to 7.3 shortly after it launches. Unless there has been a change in plans, there isn't a need to backport content from 7.3 anymore.

This is a roundabout solution, but after testing I can confirm that if you induce a state of weather, cancel the effect and then relog, the weather will have reset. Azarchius was online last night albeit from his phone. To my understanding he is without a computer. I'm not certain when he'll be able to return. While Azarchius is away, a temporary solution is to use the Storm weather spells: .lo sp Rain Storm, Snow Storm, Sand Storm, Ash Storm Hopefully this command and more will be added in the near future however. (:

I think a valuable lesson to keep in mind here is that we are on the Internet where opinions are often uncensored and indelicate. Take a leaf out of retail. We should strive to be a polite community because that is how we would want to reflect on Epsilon, but it is not something that needs policing. If you are offended or upset and a resolution cannot be reached, we have the ignore function. If it escalates beyond that we have a staff team and a report function.

I can tell this is a subject you're very passionate about, Avalia! I appreciate where you are coming from with your points. The community has a responsibility to set the quality of the server. We will be a little better or maybe not quite as good depending on how the players treat one another. The sorts of issues you mentioned with role-play ultimately take care of themselves. Community sponsored events have been successful historically speaking (Wyrmrest Accord had Kor'kron trials in 5.4 and currently the Tournament of Ages is ongoing on retail) so long as they aren't "server sponsored." The real focus must be on a family friendly environment. Show players why they would want to make their home here. Think, "Epsilon is Ohana." (:

I'm uncertain whether Azarchius intended this or not. Robes paint to the chest but have a separate geoset for the skirt. I tested this with White Wedding Dress (.add 10040) and the same thing happened. I pulled up the display ID and corresponding geosets and it looks like this: 13119,"INV_Chest_Cloth_04"1,"Dress_B_02White_Sleeve_AU","Dress_B_02White_Sleeve_AL","Dress_B_02White_Chest_TU","Dress_B_02White_Chest_TL","Dress_B_02White_Pant_LU","Dress_B_02White_Pant_LL" So I searched "Dress_B_02White_Pant" and added that.
