The way Spectral sight was made is that Demon Hunters can see through any guise. Let's completely forget Nathrezim from the topic for just a moment, and remember what they did to get the spectral sight in the first place. To actually get it, they merged with a demon, this means they've seen the full extent of the Legion as the demon had. Now, if we take this into consideration, it has been depicted as them either having their eyes burned out, or even ripping their eyes out from terror. Leaving smoldering eye sockets. On the Wowpedia page, it references it being able to see through any guise, and though I can understand WHY people think they cannot see through the guise of a Nathrezim, the Demon Hunter CAN. Allow me to explain why. The reason being is that Nathrezim could disguise to take over political positions, and have even done this with the Scarlet Crusade. Though the demon hunter was never a variable in past, this is why they haven't simply made Azeroth kill itself. From a story perspective, the demon hunter is the bane of all demons. Besides popular belief, the Nathrezim aren't -Super- powerful in the spectrum of things. They are cunning, and intelligent beyond the minds of a mortal. However, they aren't made the Legion's Grand Generals and front line fighters because they are better strategists. Each demon has a skillset for a specific reason, and the Nathrezim could find a work around. For example; making some mortal work for them. If you want to disagree with them not being super powerful, then fine. That's fair. But ask yourself this; if they are stronger than a weaker demon... Wouldn't there be -more- for a demon hunter to pick up on? Regardless of how good, an illusion has limits. To even a Nathrezim. (Side note, Nathrezim RP is generally shit. Due to the fact that they are so intelligent it is IMPOSSIBLE for a Human being to mimic them. They are described as cunning, and more intelligent than the mortal mind can understand. And even OOC, we are mortal human beings. So based off of basic description; we are not smart enough.) (PS. I forgot to mention, I am not saying they aren't powerful. But their power is derived from intelligence and cunning, not blunt force. Though they are rather notable. It is not impossible for a mortal to grow to their power level. Though it is impossible for them to be just as smart.)

Well, you -could- RP something like that. But they are percieved bad, you won't really get RP. I would recommend starting out with something simple if you're new at RP. Perhaps a civilian. Or a simple Swordsman, mage, or adventurer. It leaves a lot of room for character progression.

The points I posted here are minor concerns and things I have seen around the community. These are real problems, though I do not deny that the community isn't quite set up. But after Dery responded to this post they've already gone along beautifully. And activity has been picking up. The truest concern I have is population, and even that is going along well.

Generally, the commands are pretty easy. For titles, races, and classes, I recommend you pick up TRP3. It is an addon we all use collectively. https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/total-rp-3 If you want to do morphing, do the .morph command, for example; ".Morph 2342". You can go through thousands of numbers to get to different creatures. Scales are ".mod scale <number>". If you do know how to RP, then you are good to go. But if you are new to World of Warcraft as a universe, I recommend you read up on some lore and watch some guides on Youtube on how to get into it. Remember, for reading lore you -always- want to go to either the Chronicles novels or perhaps Wowpedia. Never Wowwiki as that is proven not to be canon in many cases. I know this is an open letter to the staff, but let's not fall into argument based off of one scenario. Let's keep to constructive advice and requests to the staff directly. much less shit posting to each other.

Keep in mind, if you are here to cause drama. If you are here to start things, just saying before it starts. Don't talk shit here, this is a way for us to maturely speak to the admins and staff team. Cut it. Especially your litte jon.

I think you misunderstand, JJ. I'm not trying to upset or make anyone's life harder. The updates section is a bit lackluster, to be frank. We need it to feel alive, a community where the general channels aren't shit posting. We don't need intense moderation set into place, we need to talk as a community about what we want. What we need. What we feel. Whilst I will take what you say into account, perhaps you may not be disconnected. But a lot of us are. That much I can say as a -fact-. Due to many people telling me over time that they have no clue what's going on. And simply observing that people don't know.

Dear staff team, I truly think there are a few things that need to be voiced. First and foremost, I feel that there is a massive disconnection between the community and the staff team. Many of us are left in the dark as to what you are currently working on and what you are doing in future. This is never a good thing to have within a private server, much more a roleplay one. I know you have been borderline attacked in past for just this sort of thing, so allow me to condense it in a way that is easy to understand and more effectively use. We require and need the bridge to be made, if it means you use the announcements channel a lot more for what you are doing currently and your plans for future? Do it. If you start using the @everyone tag more often, do it. We as a people need more connection. We need to know what’s happening so we can effectively gather out ideas and hopes and send them to you. You need to know what we want just as much as we need to understand what you want. This brings me to my next point. I think that there have been a few examples of moderation that was...Too strict at best. Though I won’t mention names here and I have also spoken to these people, I ask that in future you take some time to consider before muting someone. Muting should be a last cause when someone is causing widespread chaos. Perhaps multiple GMs should come together and agree before muting someone, and if not then you must be -sure- they are causing trouble that requires a mute. Otherwise, it’ll on rise more chaos than that of which you seek to silence. Priorities, of course you in the end will probably come up with something better than I could ever imagine, due to this being what you do. I do ask that you have priorities in line, I think a phase management system not unlike RPH’s .phase list command is needed. I know it is currently in the works, and I thank you for that. But you need to get the fundamentals of a server down and quick. These are the things that’ll bring the community to life, this is what will get people out of start and Rping. This is all coming from me wishing for nothing more than this server to live, thrive and survive in the coming years. I truly do not wish to see this server fall to the likes of RPH. So I ask you to heed these words and come to understand why I speak them. I thank you for your time, and effort. Truly. If you can keep determined like you currently are and with good priorities, you will survive and we will be just fine. But these are the moments that truly matter, the beginning is where is begins. It’s all about first impressions.
