The Pathfinders’ Society is a treasure and monster hunting guild meant for adventurers and thrill-seekers, with its own uniquely diverse membership and unusual associates. They take refuge in Loch Boldihr, a small town within the Wildhammer island, Duban Kibil. The island is located a few hundred miles out from the shores of Lordaeron and Quel'thalas, having drifted out in the aftermath of the Cataclysm. Having initially been a mere fellowship, their mutual quest to nullify common threats led them to expand into more; a company. With that in mind, they remain true to their goals: To discover artefacts of power before the enemies can and store them away, and to protect those that cannot protect themselves (or just want someone to do it for them). Adventures and spontaneous side tasks are found along the way! The guild is INDEPENDENT / ALLIANCE-LEANING. Accepted races are all Alliance characters + neutral / independent races. Due to in-character conflict, we do not accept Horde-affiliated characters or non-fitting races, like Ogres. A fully neutral setting is not realistically plausible given the members' impassioned characters and lore backstories. RPG and D&D inspiration is welcome as long as the character concept fits. There are several areas available for roleplay within the phase, unique zones with their own lore that still adheres to official lore. Player housing is available with the possibility of choosing your desired location and building. we like to keep it simple and flexible, therefore we not prefer roles that are overpowered or repetitive (the quests can be simple and a mage able to one-shot every npc around them is pretty dull). Inactivity is often understandable depending on the circumstances. If someone misses more than a month's worth of events without a reason, they are counted as inactive and will be removed. EVENTS are set in GMT timezone. RECRUITMENT & TRIAL Players can be recruited into the guild via quests or through a private interview. They will then be regarded as TRIALS before becoming full-fledged members, and will be promoted depending on their performance during an event, usually combat-centered. Their ability to make fast-paced decisions, collaborative skills, and prioritisation are taken into consideration. To arrange a recruitment, add Dove#6430 on discord. Some of these look like they're never going to be used, and some look like they wouldn't fit anywhere. Others don't look useful at all. I don't understand the reasoning behind adding so many unneeded patterns. If anything, it is going to drastically make it impossible for someone to choose out of too many options. I think you are looking into this waaay too deeply. We're on a forums board of a private WoW server where players create their own characters. As far as I recall, whenever I was given assignments and asked to write an essay at Uni, I was allowed to speak my 'opinion' ONLY if it was backed up by authoritative sources, while leaving my own thoughts out of it. We're not at Uni here. We don't need any solid "evidence" or "authoritative sources" in order to express our beliefs, because, after all, we are part of the roleplay itself and the roleplayers are the community, while the characters are the players' own creation. You don't need a 'critical piece of evidence' to argue how this random interaction is a good thing. You simply need to argue WHY you would -think- that way, because you are part of this community. Also, how was the "I believe it's a strong connection" the dead giveaway to that paragraph (and the rest) being her opinion? For me, the dead giveaway would've been in the very first words at the very beginning of the topic, which clearly states, " I don't believe this will be a very popular opinion".

Not a lot of information given, especially in the "Void/Twilight" one which seems to focus more on the creatures of the void. Also, "Shadow" is far more used than "twilight" is. I personally have barely ever saw the "twilight magic" term being used, contrary to shadow magic.
