Of course, as a downside, the abusive level of magic casting has given her the known "Arcane Corruption", rendering her fur white and other troubles. She was also successful in arts not much given to any ordinary magi, giving her an unfair advantage in combat. She is currently magic-locked to fight her corruption levels, rendering her vulnerable to magic in given situations. Master of Translocation With mastery in "Transmutation" school, among others, the woman is capable of relocating in multiple locations through a way she knows best, avoiding the "Mage in the wall" event. That was about to change along with her life, when her mother, former fleet commander of the Gilnean kingdom, smuggled her daughter out to sea and send her to Dalaran, where Vanessa will learn magic on her own. By the time she was 21, she was placed in prison for murdering a Kirin Tor student that was harassing her, yet falsified proof lend her to years behind bars, a voice called out to her and a surge of power caused her to break the defenses and flee South, her destination, Stormwind. The Third War was undergoing, fleeing Dalaran days before Archimonde destroyed it, using the coastline to reach as far as she could, finally reaching a group of Alliance soldiers to send her to Stormwind, clearing her a path away from the disaster behind her. Years later, before the events of the Cataclysm, she infiltrated back into Gilneas by the cover of night through a rowboat, sneaking her way back into Gilneas, strangers were not taken kindly, and her wearing clothes from Stormwind was not a welcoming sign, but to her utter shock when she saw the manor she lived, broken in, stepping inside, she saw her family, executed and left dead on the floor, herself surrounded by six witch hunters, commissioned by an unknown Duke to slay the whole House, discreetly. Managing to flee, wounded and panicked, the worgens attacked Gilneas, having Vanessa caught in the middle of it inside the city. Luckily, she was accompanied by a marksman by the name of William Leonard, both finding a way out, not long before both were ambushed and bitten. The following events of Vanessa after the whole Gilneas crisis, she has changed drastically, from a shy, depraved girl, the woman was now a cold heart noble. Her intentions unknown and her determination high on setting things into her favor. From her first days alone in Northrend, scavenging any bits of useful materials to start her own life back, the pack of "Black Sun", led by some Worgen, helped her establish a baseline, followed by her conquering the fields of magic with "The Order of Norgannon", developing her power and into the ranks of spymaster in various kingdoms. Now, Vanessa is a traveling sorceress, achieving the knowledge of an Archmage in the Kirin Tor, once more, and striving to reach her full potential in the knowledge of magic, succeeding her father and completing her life-long mission, unknown to others yet her purpose is clear as day yet dark as night. He is capable of fighting one on one with great precision and training, his worgen self also allows more powerful blows in the battlefield. His magic is also based on a very wide customary abilities that serve as the backbone in his crusade against the Legion, such as demonic retraining spells, mind controlling and as well as highly volatile destruction abilities that would decimate anyone who is getting on his bad side, most notably is his control over chaos energies, which allow him to cast a Chaos Bolt a little more faster and more effective, with the cost of his energy well drained depending on the time spent. With years, he has worked on reducing the life-force cost of the abilities, using the harnessing power of his staff to gather an alternative source of energy to fuel the needs of his magic, yet not as strong as a soul gathering warlock or sacrificing his life force, it proves to be a good reliable power in his encounters. He is not immune to the life-drain, neither he is casting without it, but he managed to find an alternative using the power of his staff. His aura is also aged, having the "third-sense" of demonic or fel-veined beings, able to feel them as well as they could feel him through either negative or warning effects : - Demon Hunters feel a tingling sensation around Lou'vel, clearly letting them know he is around. - Felsworn feel a surging heat within them, uncomfortable and forcing them to feel threatened. - Demons can feel his burning vengeance, signaling his approach or presence through a burning feel. Lou'vel and Arcane magic : Fel magic did take toll on the man, yet his knowledge of it hasn't dissipated, he is very weak in casting arcane, most of it fading off due to the corruptible powers of the Fel. - Year 0 : Enrollment into the Kingdom of Stormwind, taking the fight in defending the lands of Eastern Kingdom, as well as being part of the Tirisgarde - Year 4-5 : Escorting the Survivors north of Eastern Kingdoms, full of grief and sorrow after the loss of his beloved wife and daughter. - Year 6-7 : Studying the Dark Arts the Orcish Horde has shown in the downfall, Lou'vel and the other magi who sacrificed have taken the mantle of "Warlocks" to combat the Orcish Horde. With the death of Lothar, Lou' has shown great power against the Orcs, granting him the title of "Bane of the Orcish Horde" after the Horde' defeat upon Blackrock Mountain led by Turalyon. - Year 10-19 : After the calming storm, Lou'vel has isolated himself within the confinements of his home and Dalaran to study and master this volatile magic and study the demons the Orcs have brought, beginning his line of study in Demonology. - Year 20 : With the Third War on the rise, Lou'vel has been tasked to decimate and dismantle Orcish summoners that attempted to bring demons into the world, off-books from the Alliance. - Year 22 : The Expedition in Northrend came to a horrifying end as Andrew was forced to flee the shores the Alliance settled as Prince Arthas demanded the sinking of the ships, left alone in the unknown, fortunately, he was able to teleport himself back home, fleeing Lordaeron as fast as he could. Once his former home has now turned into a Scourge playground, he has returned to Stormwind with stern thoughts, returning to his rebuilt former home. - Year 26 : Assault on Outland, still enrolled and now a certified member of the Alliance, he has been given the role of exterminating any demonic influence that placed a threat upon the Adventurers and the Expedition sent there, battling through the halls of Sunwell Plateau back on Azeroth after the discovering of Prince Kael'thas of his treachery of summoning Kil'Jaden. - Year 27 : Returning to Northrend as part of the Valiance Expedition, Lou'vel played a major part in securing the ramparts of Icecrown Citadel along with Jaina Proudmoore and the Heroes. There, he has witnessed his former fallen compatriots as Scourge. - Year 28 : Ill, wounded and at his final road close to the Graymane Wall, he finds himself ambushed by Worgen, giving his final breath to fed off the beasts, but instead was afflicted with their curse, thankfully, his new worgen form has granted him a second wind, feeling revived and granting him an upper advantage in his fighting, his days are not over... yet. - Year 30 : Sent to Pandaria to save the young Prince Anduin, Lou'vel stumbled upon the Horde attempting to summon demons into the peaceful land, taking his role to eliminate such doings and clearing out the lands from demonic influence. - Year 31 : With Draenor opened, the now Veteran of the Wars kept his enrollment in the Alliance, fighting forth with the Heroes on the unknown land in great determination to defeat Gul'dan and the Iron Horde from stepping into Azeroth as well as liberating Draenor from their evil. - Present time : Lou'vel, now part of the Black Harvest organisation, fights once more to end the Legions recent attempts upon the Broken Isles, conducting ground breaking progress in easily destroying the numbers of the Legion and pushing forward with the Heroes of Azeroth and the Alliance in saving Azeroth once more, yet... He feels like the end of his journey may be ahead. His end-game approaches. Or it may not. More info added in the future.

K'Laina Everstride - Spellbow A long fighting Quel'dorei ranger of Quel'thalas, serving in the Alliance Army and aside a kingdom for many years, gone M.I.A after her sisters disappearance and hardships getting to her, recently seen back in Draenor and now fighting against the Legion on the Broken Shores. Andrew Lou'vel - Warlock A grand veteran of the Alliance, noble and patriotic man of the Grand Alliance ever since the First War, the first of the few members of the old Council of Tirisgarde and Kirin Tor to become a Warlock against the Orcish Horde after his family was slaughtered in Stormwind, sworn to see the blood of the Horde and the obliteration of the Burning Legion by any means necessary. Vanessa "Octavia" Valentine - Mage Mysterious Gilnean lady of Gilneas, head mistress of House Valentine, a notorious house accused of political assassinations and dark magic, ruling the Noble House alone after all it's members were wiped during the Cataclysm, an almost insane afflicted woman with strong affiliation with magic. Su-Ji Thunderpaw - Brawler A massive brutish Pandaren lady who's not afraid to fight with her "BEAR" fists, where there is trouble, she's there to have fun and take names, as well as leaving her mark with a fist mark on walls or someone's face. She needs no weapons since her body is a weapon, believing in Kang like a god to her. For now, these are the main three I want to pull in.

  16. Hi. The purpose of this thread will be to help newcomers or curious folk in guidelines in roleplaying certain races I am knowledgeable of. LET'S GET IT STARTED! Pandaren Pandaren are the ursine race of Azeroth that were as old as the Kaldorei, in the past, they were the slaves of the cruel race Mogu, that kept them under slavery for many years to come, Kang, the Fist of the First Dawn, set up a revolution that shook the whole Mogu empire and leading to the liberty of Pandaren. The Pandaren are not to be mistaken as a lesser race, they have faced the Mogu slavery, the assaults of the Zandalari Trolls, the seven Sha, the corrupted Mantid and having the Sundering upon their hands, the last emperor, Shaohao, sacrificed his life to shroud the land in a thick mist that would keep Pandaria hidden for decades. The Pandaren are divided in two, the mainland and the Wandering Isle, also known as Grandchildren of Liu Lang that lived on the Turtle Isle known as Shen-Zin Su. The Pandaren, as a race, are strong, wise, almost impressively agile and a good ally to have around. They love and revolve their life in joy, food and a good drink, as well as keeping peace in and out, but some may be the fiercest warriors Azeroth has ever known, they have four deities known as Celestials, which are Wild Gods of Pandaria that assisted the Last Emperor Shaohao in fighting his inner Sha and restore balance to Pandaria, and also being the head figures of the Monks. When you will roleplay a Pandaren, you must remember that they are more of an exotic type of race, where different cultures will apply aside your regular races, they are and will be a new and unique way to approach this race. 1. What is there to know : The Pandaren are big ursine beings with a distinctive lore and culture, they are not Humans or Orcs at all, neither they are like Taurens. When making a Pandaren, remember that you play an asian influenced character and that traditions will apply to you, for example for the Mainland Pandaren meanwhile Wandering Isle Pandaren are adventurous and may be more easy to handle in terms of playing your own. They love to eat, drink and have a good time, don't forget that. 2. Factions : As we know, Wandering Isle Pandaren are able to choose between Horde and The Alliance and that they both factions their loyalty and skills. The Pandaren sided factions are named The Huojin and The Tushui , each following a set of philosophies in their training and personality. The two have a rivalry not like the Alliance and the Horde, they are not mortal enemies, when fighting a Pandaren of the opposite factions, you are to give him/her mercy to fight another day, since he/she is part of your blood, you won't fight your own because of a faction. Meanwhile, the Mainland Pandaren are strictly NEUTRAL and follow their own laws and land, they are known to be more peaceful to each other but not held down, with the disappearance of the mist, more and more Pandaren set out trade routes with many factions of Azeroth, as well as assisting some in difficult times. 3. Classes : Pandaren can be : Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, Shamans, Priests*, Monks and Mages** Other classes, also known as RPG classes that Pandaren can be are : Geomancers, War-dancers, Pikeman, Transcendent and Shado-Pan*** You are free to choose through this pack, each class determines your personality as a Pandaren, but remember the following thing with each class : - Warriors : They are not SAMURAI, or whatever other asian movie hero, they are as they seem, strong walking trains of pain that will pack a HUGE punch - Hunters : They love bows over guns, but this will not restrict you in being a gun lover. - Rogues : They. Are. Not. Ninjas! Those are more known as Shado-Pan, we will get to them. Rogue Pandarens are more with controlling their body weight and using their ursine hind-paws to make them mostly quiet, careful of that vase. - Shamans : The shamans have these young looking Elements that they follow, but as many other races, they have a connection to the Elemental Plain. - Priests : What to remember about priests is that the Pandaren adopted a different style of the Holy Light, instead of Churches, they have temples that they pray with incense and other charms, most notable thing to know of Priests is that they follow the Wild God deity Chi-Ji, The Red Crane, which inspires HOPE to Pandaren, which is a prime fuel in faith. - Monks : Pandaren formed the Monk order, they are the Masters of their body, soul and Chi. Chi being a powerful body energy that is harnessed through meditation and having full control of your body, with the power of puncture strikes that could leave even the strongest foe to peace or sleep. They follow the other three of the four Wild Gods : Xuen, The White Tiger, Niuzhao, The Black Ox and Yu'Lon, The Jade Serpent. Each Celestial granting each monk their wisdom and strength. - Mages : This is a class that will mostly apply to Mainland Pandaren as the Mogu have burned down all their books and scrolls in the past and only a few remains of this remained on Shen-Zin Su that was passed from Master to Master. Mainland Pandaren are also able to learn Arcane Arts in a more unique way than Humans. [STILL WORK IN PROGRESS!]
