  1. • Type of Bug: Command • Description: .npc cast creature does not function. • Evidence (Chat message/Screenshot): - • Steps to reproduce: -Make a couple NPCs. -use .npc cast creature 237639 <GUID> -Triggered is optional. • Expected result: the npc cast da spell • Observed result: the npc no cast da spell • Reproduction rate: 100% • Additional information: Adding repeated spellcasts with the delay argument does not function, either. It doesn't add any more spells to the cast list beyond one entry, which you can't delete.
  2. • Type of Bug: command • Description: NPC formations break when used with waypoints. • Evidence (Chat message/Screenshot): - • Steps to reproduce: Create a formation with one or more members. Make a waypoint system with one or more waypoints. Start. • Expected result: They should move together for the entirety of the patrol. • Observed result: The formation members run away to an unknown location (they clip out of the map for stormwind's trade district) after the first waypoint is reached. • Reproduction rate: 100%? • Additional information:
  3. • Type of Bug: command • Description: .Phase DM does not make unclickable NPCs clickable. • Evidence (Chat message/Screenshot): • Steps to reproduce: .npc set click .phase dm • Expected result: i should be able to click alonsus faol • Observed result: i cannot click alonsus faol • Reproduction rate: 1000000% • Additional information: I've grown lazy with wording my reports. I apologize.
  4. • Type of Bug: Command • Description: Using .npc scale or .ph forge npc scale does not work on NPCs with custom displayIDs. • Evidence (Chat message/Screenshot): here • Steps to reproduce: Forge an NPC with a custom display, e.g. .ph forge npc outfit race 1. use .npc scale, or .phase forge npc scale • Expected result: The NPC should shrink or grow. • Observed result: It don't • Reproduction rate: 100% • Additional information: I'm revamping the rest of my threads with this format I guess.
  5. Retail NPCs lack their weapons if they come with some (e.g. Lyria Du Lac - 913 - should have a hammer and shield). Phase forged NPCs lose their equipped weapons if you use .phase forge npc weapon. .npc set weapon does not save, either. To replicate: Spawn any NPC, be it forged or normal. Use .npc set weapon 3001550 0 Wait for a restart. The weapon should be gone. I don't know whether it's only happening to custom items, but I'm not at liberty to test that short-term on the server proper. i originally had this in another thread but i realized it doesnt save on forged npcs either so its actually a bug now
  6. BFA emotes such as the WA-prefixed emote IDs don't function with .npc emote to test, try using .npc emote 743 r on a human female. you'll get the "emote does not exist" error message
  7. see above. to replicate, mass import objects into your phase from any radius, and use .doodad mass unimport -100 (or any other number) it will say it unimported 0 objects with 0 errors.

    Stormbrace

Introduction It is the year 616 of the King's Calendar. The kingdom of Azeroth struggles to move on as the widespread riots of stonemasons have drained an entire guild from the city. Bandits have begun ambushing and robbing caravans without repercussion. Varian Wrynn, king of Stormwind, has spiralled into a depression following the death of his wife, Tiffin Wrynn, approximately six years ago. Even now, as royal advisor Katrana Prestor takes charge in affairs of the state to alleviate the king's burdens, he remains melancholic. Reeling from a dysfunctional parliament, these threats go unchecked. The Stormwind guards are stretched thinly across the garrisons of Westbrook, Sentinel Hill, and Stonewatch. Even now, years after the Scourging of Lordaeron, refugees from Tirisfal remain without shelter, work, and security. Within Elwynn Forest, the Defias Brotherhood makes its mark. Farms have been razed clean of their supplies in defiance of the Crown, and as the House of Nobles passes increasing demands to tax the underdelivering farmers as punishment, the red-masked insurgents implant their agendas onto the feudal servants. While the Gnoll-threat was destroyed only recently, their fall paves the way for more actors in the shadows, skulking to destabilize Azeroth's footholds in its territories. Reports have been made of the Orcs breaching Anduin's Gate, a historical barrier erected to block the Horde's entry into Redridge Mountains. Nobody has seen the orcs, but people have begun disappearing under mysterious circumstances. Many locals have grown disillusioned with the crown and its opponents alike. Some have taken matters into their own hands, hunting bandits for bounty, while others preach in streets and gazettes about the puppet-king and the pupetteer Prestor. Many of these bounty-hunters were lulled into recruitment by a lesser noble known as Galina Bugholt, and under the banner of Stormbrace and in service of the King's Conjurer, she seeks to bring justice to the many threats plaguing the kingdom. Available Races Humans The noble humans of Stormwind are a proud, tenacious race. Though the recent invasion of the demonic Burning Legion decimated their sister kingdom of Lordaeron, the defenders of Stormwind stand vigilant against any who would threaten the sanctity of their lands. Nestled in the foothills of Elwynn Forest, Stormwind City is one of the last bastions of human power in the world. Yet, as the ruins of Capital City crumble under their own weight, refugees of Lordaeron have grown as tired of their complacency. Single-minded, focused, and strong, the audacious humans of Lordaeron seek nothing more than to redeem their lost kingdom. Gnomes The eccentric, often brilliant gnomes are held as one of the most peculiar races of the world. With their obsession for developing radical new technologies and constructing marvels of mind-bending engineering, it’s a wonder that any gnomes have survived to proliferate. Through their immense intellect, these diminutive geniuses have proven time and time again that brain matters as much as brawn. What they may lack in brute strength, they make up tenfold in their intelligence. Dwarves The stoic dwarves of Ironforge spent countless generations mining treasures from deep within the earth. Hidden within their impregnable stronghold of Ironforge Mountain, they rarely ventured beyond the wintry peaks of Dun Morogh. Be it through sheer wanderlust or the ingenious design of the Deeprun Tram, a non-insignificant amount of Dwarves have ventured to the kingdom of Azeroth not only to live and settle themselves into human lands, but also to assist their long-standing allies. Rare Races High & Blood Elves For nearly seven thousand years, the high elves cultivated a shining magical kingdom hidden deep within the forests of northern Lordaeron. But five years ago, the undead Scourge invaded Quel'Thalas and drove the elves to the brink of extinction. While some of the noble Quel'dorei follow their prince, Kael'thas Sunstrider, to new worlds in search for purpose and new beginnings, others remain on Azeroth, and fewer still have become refugees within the kingdom of Azeroth. Few and far inbetween, these holdouts betray their aloof nature in an attempt to start anew. Night Elves An ancient and mystical race, the once-immortal Night Elves have had a hand in shaping centuries of Azeroth's history. They are bound inextricably to the natural forces around them and live a self-sufficient, reclusive lifestyle. While some curious members of Night Elven society have emigrated into Stormwind's newly-christened Moon Gardens District, they commonly seclude themselves within its walls, quietly worshipping their deities at its local moonwell. Scarcely do they exit their sacred grounds, and more seldom still do they consider taking up arms. OOC Information In order to satisfy an urge to RP in a classic setting, I've begun to brainstorm Stormbrace, a guild set 24 years after the Dark Portal's opening. The purpose of this roleplay is to remain grounded and to encapsulate the more down-to-earth themes that early Warcraft zones touched upon, and while we definitely will move on from Elwynn Forest and its bound zones at some point, the story that is within them is what is most important. Do be aware, though, that due to the timeline and stopgap year, there are a few creative liberties taken, and in order to create a unique atmosphere, custom events and diversions from established lore will happen every now and again -- to what extent I can't say here and now, but you will see. While the initial run of this guild is set in Elwynn Forest, I have plans to expand the storyline further and further north as the plot unfolds itself. While the organization 'Stormbrace' exists in this universe, the players are recruited in-character after the first event; before then, consider yourselves mercenaries, agents of the crown -- whatever you think would be a nice character to drag into this guild. While the aforementioned High and Blood Elves are welcome to the guild, I want to emphasize that their presence is as rare as it was in the past. The blood elves may be neutral now, but similar to the high elves, they are scarce in number. If you're interested in joining the guild, please check out the Discord! Do you have questions? Ask them here! I'm glad to answer any concerns you might have.
  9. i think Razmataz was the person that changed "Mountain Climbing" to a spell that gives you the butler animation kit, so i think it's appropriate to wonder if the same could be done to add a spell that sets your animation kit to the 'flying' type (e.g. animations prefixed with "Fly", used by Val'kyr, dragons, and a few others). i don't know how NPCs do it script-wise, but I think it'd be cool if we could use that to actually take off and land with the corresponding animations and without breaking the flight animations when using .cheat fly on idk if this was planned already or is actually not as easy as it seems but i thought itd be a cool idea haha :0
  10. simple suggestion: add a delay function for npc emote <id> r; e.g. .npc emote 1 r 5000 will make npcs do emote 1 (talk) every 5 seconds dunno how difficult this is to code in, but it'd help a lot with the problem of NPCs doing emotes at the exact same time upon a server restart or leaving and rejoining the phase or rezoning

    BFA Sounds/Music

That's exactly what I mean, although I doubt any of my friends would like the idea of "you'll have to download this or that to hear the music I'm playing" when it comes to addons. I'm not sure if there's any other alternative, e.g. making a bunch of empty sound kit IDs that people can use with patches the same way Azarchius did with displayIDs.

    BFA Sounds/Music

I don't know if this is planned or eschewed until we potentially move to BFA as a whole but porting down BFA music would be a great addition for events that need music. BFA has a lot of really good tracks that fit a lot of certain combat scenarios and can break the constant repeat of the same X soundtracks for, say, combat, or large scale battles, or a dramatic stinger for a visual reveal. If this is planned, great; if it's not going to be pursued, it'll be a shame, but I'm sure everyone (including me) can live with that.
  15. alright hear me out There's countless new spell objects in BFA that are usable only sparingly without a game-object animation command (which I've been told is underway, but that's not the focus of this topic), and some are so situational that they're not particularly useful in any static environment. I want to know if it could be possible -- or plausible -- to create a sort-of "spell-forge" in which you can assign sound, object and animation to a new ID in order to create, in essence, a new spell. While it's visuals only, it could open a lot of avenues with new albeit unusable magic effects like the newly-added death, decay, and necromancy-based spell objects.

    .ch dur

something like .cheat infinitecasttime or whatever would be great i think
  17. The title is a bit ambiguous, but there's only one way to showcase what I mean. Setting the skybox (perhaps only in a map that isn't part of a normal map, e.g. dungeon maps such as Court of Stars's instanced part of the Broken Isles) too many times can turn the entire map pitch-black. Resetting the skybox cycles either through all previous skyboxes or sets it to something completely random. In case this sounds like insane rambling, here's a visual representation of what I mean: https://streamable.com/o1l9b (can I embed streamable? i dont know) I'm not sure what causes this, but it seems to happen after either setting it too many times or resetting it after a large amount of changes.
  18. I want to suggest a command to add portrait flair to NPCs created with the NPC forge, e.g. elite or rare-elite dragons around them. The syntax from my point of view should be something like: .ph forge npc portraitflair <type> Type being ether numbers or words (like Rare, Elite, Rare-elite, et cetera), and the command subsequently would give the NPC the aforementioned type on the portrait.
